It looks like Rosewood is packing it in. Today, it was revealed that the TV show had been cancelled after two seasons.
The crime drama centers on Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. (Morris Chestnut), a charismatic pathologist, who teams up with tough Miami homicide detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). The cast also includes Lorraine Toussaint, Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, Domenick Lombardozzi, and Eddie Cibrian.
Despite an auspicious first season, Rosewood struggled in the ratings during season two. Overall, the sophomore season averaged a 0.66 in the 18-49 demo and 3.03 million viewers. For comparison. season one earned an average rating of 1.34 in the 18-49 demo and 4.79 million viewers. That’s a near 50% drop in the ratings. It seems fans of the FOX series didn’t stick around for season two.

My whole family watched Rosewood religiously. It was one of the best shows on television PERIOD!
This is really upsetting I really liked this show and how it ended pissed me off u can’t not make another one since y’all wanted to cancel it you shouldnt have made the ending like that I would like more rosewood it is a great show and I watched it every week

My friend and I are both disappointed this show was cancelled. Even our husbands enjoyed it. I think the ratings are skewed. I know so many people who like this show . There is so much junk that gets renewed. Why not a show that has interesting characters , good values, and shows caring and respect for people?
