What’s This TV Show About?
A military combat drama airing on the History channel, the Six TV show stars Walton Goggins, Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan-Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Dominic Adams, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Jaylen Moore, Donny Boaz, and Nondumiso Tembe. The series centers on the members of Navy SEAL Team Six. When they uncover a U.S. citizen working with terrorists, their covert mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry. Two years later, Richard “Rip” Taggart (Goggins) has cut all ties to his teammates and his family and is a paid contractor in Nigeria. Once he is captured by terrorists, it is up to his SEAL brothers to put their differences aside to locate and rescue their former troop leader.

Telly’s Take
History doesn’t have many scripted series thus far and the first season of the Six TV show pales in comparison to the fourth season of Vikings. Still, it seems like it has been performing well enough. History renewed Six for season two, on February 23, 2017. Since renewals can be cancelled, I’ll still keep an eye on the ratings and update this page, if anything changes.
3/8/2018 update: History has announced season two of Six will premiere on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2018. Details here.

Our family loves SIX! After that last episode, you can’t possibly cancel it! Come on! The acting is excellent & the storyline realistic, given our country’s recent history. It’s not anymore violent than Vikings. We expect more from the History channel. Don’t give in to today’s partisan politics. Bring it back!
PLEASE Renew SIX for a third Season and more to follow. It is one of the ONLY worthwhile Military Shows on TV. I am a Disabled Veteran and my heart SOARS when I see my Brothers ( TV Version) in Arms destroying the enemy. I and my Real Brothers in Arms will be very disappointed if you cancel it.

BEST SHOW EVER! GREAT ACTORS, CHARACTERS, AND COMPASSION. MUST MAKE MANY MORE SEASONS, LIKE NEVER ENDING! im sure they have tons of stories and people love to watch and relate to these stories and event based moments.
