Mother and son may end up healing their relationship in the first season of the So Help Me Todd TV show on CBS. As we all know, Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like So Help Me Todd is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of So Help Me Todd here. *Status Update Below.
A CBS legal drama series, the So Help Me Todd TV show stars Marcia Gay Harden, Skylar Astin, Madeline Wise, Tristen J. Winger, Inga Schlingmann, and Rosa Arredondo. In the story, Margaret Wright (Harden) is a razor-sharp and successful attorney who is reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage. Her son Todd (Astin) is a quick-thinking former private detective who’s fallen on hard times after his “flexible interpretation of the law” got his license revoked. Though Margaret’s high standards and strict adherence to the law are at complete odds with Todd’s scrappy and seat-of-his-pants methods, she asks him to join her firm as the in-house investigator. Mother and son working together is a big first step toward mending their fragile and dysfunctional relationship. They may even come away with a better understanding of each other at this pivotal point in their lives.
What do you think? Which season one episodes of the So Help Me Todd TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Do you think that So Help Me Todd should be cancelled or renewed for a second season on CBS?
*2/3/23 update: So Help Me Todd has been renewed for a second season by CBS.
Love this show, even the reruns. So entertaining and funny. Finally something decent to watch on Thursday.
Finally an interesting show that is not too heavy AND my teenagers will watch it with me. Reminds me of the good old Magnum P.I. days! Need more of this!!
I don’t watch much prime time TV. I found “Ghosts” one night by accident during summer reruns after its first season and loved it. Thankfully “So Help Me Todd” followed it in its second season and I was hooked. Thursdays are now the night I watch CBS’ two delightful shows. PLEASE do not cancel the best thing that has happened in a long time. The gifted acting, clever writing and perfect direction has provided you a winner. I hope you’ll give people a chance to find and enjoy it like so many already have.
CBS- please bring this show back for Season 2. I look forward to it all week. I love the banter back and forth between Harden and Astin. Wonderful new show!
A star is born, in my opinion, with Skylar playing Todd. He is such a natural, he is a bit of a bumbling character but he makes it work so well. I love him! Marcia is great in her role too. Tristin and Inga are great actors also.
I love this series.
Love this show….please keep in on.
Love so help me Todd Renew renew renew
Finally something original from CBS Netwerk! Not another chuck Lorre snooze boring noxious copied laugh track and unfunny sitcom.
I REALLY LOVED IT, SO MUCH I CALLED A FRIEND TO TELL HER ABOUT TODD, AND THAT THE PILOT WOULD BE SHOWN AGAIN SUNDAY NIGHT. ALL ACTORS TOP-NOTCH, WELL WRITTEN.
Thanks CBS and Producers for a New Great Show! There is a lot of interesting story lines that can develop in this New show. The characters are exciting and the actors are fantastic! Looking forward to many more Seasons to come. Please do not cancel this show. ~ Peace, Marc
Good show
Has potential but need to see how the characters develop.
Marcia Gay Harden was the best character so far.
I thought the previews looked interesting but the title of the show turns me off. I won’t be watching.
You don’t watch a show because of a title?? It’s an enjoyable show. Sorry you are missing it
You’re missing out, this show is so entertaining.
Such a great show youvare missing.
Like the cat n mouse, characters play off each other well. However the storyline got way too dark when Todd was confronting his mother at dinner. I was looking forward to lighter comedy. Story played out well in a suprise ending.
