To Disney-ABC, it seems ending is better than mending. Freeform has cancelled its Stitchers TV show after three seasons. Since there will be no fourth season, Stitchers, episode 3.10, “Maternis,” will serve as both the season three finale and the TV series finale.
Airing on the Freeform cable channel, Stitchers stars Emma Ishta as Kirsten Clark; Kyle Harris as Cameron Goodkin; Ritesh Rajan as Linus Ahluwalia; Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Maggie Baptiste; Allison Scagliotti as Camille Engelson; and Damon Dayoub as Detective Quincy Fisher.
A sci-fi crime drama, Stitchers centers on Kirsten Clark (Ishta), a Caltech grad student who is recruited into a covert government agency to be “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased. Using memories of the dead, Kirsten is able to help investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave.
Stitchers: A Look at the Ratings
The third season of Stitchers averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 365,000 viewers. Compared to the already low-rated season two, it was down by 14% and down by 6%, respectively. Among the 10 Freeform TV shows we’re tracking, the third season of Stitchers ranked seventh in terms of total audience size, and dead last, where its demo ratings are concerned.
Deadline has confirmed that Stitchers has been cancelled after three seasons on Freeform.

Don’t cancel this show it was a really good show please keep it I know a lot of people that do watch it.
so sad news to cancel the show without real answers and stories about kirsten parents, specifically about her dad like what really happened years ago and why did he really left kirsten and never return again and what has been happening under stitching program all this years and did government stole everything from him, his technology, his work and his wife body and di he really killed all this people or no and so many other things about stitching technology. I really enjoyed the show, it was different and cast was good together. Needs one more season.
Episode 3.10 May have been a season finale but it was not a series finale. It was a cliffhanger, and the least the producers could have done was come back with one more episode and end the show properly.
No, there should be season 4 cause season 3 end with such a cliffhanger.
I agree with all the posts before mine. This was a great show. It was different. I am tired of all those stupid reality shows and others that you need no IQ to watch. Please reconsider and bring back Stitchers for at least the fourth Season and give it’s fans a proper closure.

This show is great ! I will miss this show. Seems like every show that is decent and honest that me and my husband like gets cancelled. But other shows that cuss over and over get renewed. Very crappy. Freeform lied and said STITCHERS was renewed ! Liars !
It’s horrible to leave fans with no closure, no ending. Too often innovative shows get cancelled, while cookie cutter shows continually get renewed.

It is not the shows fault. The network screw with when to release the show which makes it hard to catch. I have had to screw it to watch it. Great show and as usuall they pull a great show without any consideration for the fans! Emma Ishta is a really pretty and talented actress and the show had a different plot line than many others! I hate when you watch a show and wait for the next season only to find out it is cancelled! SUCKS!!!
What’s most important in any show is how “pretty” the typical lead actress is. Uhh
Some people just can’t stand to watch a show if the lady isn’t pretty or what they call pretty. Doesn’t matter if they can act better than their more “beautiful” counterpart they’ll get overlooked especially if they don’t have the right tone.
Just finished season 3 and excited for season 4. Should have known. Every show I like gets canceled. This was something totally different. Loved it.
I am so tired of this . You get hooked and they take it. Why watch tv at all . Everything I watch gets canceled.
I wonder if they considered streaming or downloading in their ratings stats?! I didn’t find out about the show until season 3 was already over!!! I’m so mad that they’re not coming back for a season 4!
@ChristinaHarnden That’s a very good question. Like you I didn’t find out about it until it was too late, apparently. I binge-watched the show last summer and then saw the last few episodes right after they were released. Due to the station it was on and the lack of PR, I bet a lot of people watched it with the streaming option. That was how I watched the first 27 episodes – and they do have commercials on them (albeit far fewer than a normal broadcast) – but I wonder if that viewership even matters?
