To Disney-ABC, it seems ending is better than mending. Freeform has cancelled its Stitchers TV show after three seasons. Since there will be no fourth season, Stitchers, episode 3.10, “Maternis,” will serve as both the season three finale and the TV series finale.
Airing on the Freeform cable channel, Stitchers stars Emma Ishta as Kirsten Clark; Kyle Harris as Cameron Goodkin; Ritesh Rajan as Linus Ahluwalia; Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Maggie Baptiste; Allison Scagliotti as Camille Engelson; and Damon Dayoub as Detective Quincy Fisher.
A sci-fi crime drama, Stitchers centers on Kirsten Clark (Ishta), a Caltech grad student who is recruited into a covert government agency to be “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased. Using memories of the dead, Kirsten is able to help investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave.
Stitchers: A Look at the Ratings
The third season of Stitchers averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 365,000 viewers. Compared to the already low-rated season two, it was down by 14% and down by 6%, respectively. Among the 10 Freeform TV shows we’re tracking, the third season of Stitchers ranked seventh in terms of total audience size, and dead last, where its demo ratings are concerned.
Deadline has confirmed that Stitchers has been cancelled after three seasons on Freeform.

Please renew for at least one more season. Give the fans a real ending! Or at least offer a wrap up movie. I love this show! I’ve re-watched each season at least three times. Please give season four a chance!

AFTER KYLE XY WAS NIXED I SWORE NOT TO WATCH THIS CHANNEL AGAIN BUT LOVED THIS SHOW AND GAVE THEM A SECONED CHANCE AND AGAIN THEY CANCEL WITHOUT A SOLID FINAL TO THE SERIES. I KNOW VIEWERS WERE DOWN BUT IN REALITY THEY DID A POOR JOB PROMOTING THE SHOW. SO ABC FAMILY / FREEFORM HAS LOST A VIEWER FOR GOOD, (I KILLED THE CHANNEL OUT OF MY LIST )

My favorite show on ABC family. Should have been more about the people they stiched rather that on themselves.
I thought it was a good premise. It lost me when Camille got involved with a chick, out of the blue and unnecessary.
Too bad, just did a binge watching of the whole series and got hooked into the show to find out it was canceled. It was sparking my interest, and yes, relationships made it interesting, but they spent too much time on that, rather than maintaining an interesting story line. Another season or a two hour finale would be great.
this is producers fault as thy had plenty of times to come up with great storylines and improve writings and what they’ve done they turned season 3 in real boring drama about relationships, instead concentrating on real stuff what they should do in season 3 with everything a real answers and stories about Kirsten parents and stitching program, like what really happened years ago when Kirsten dad left Kirsten and why did he really left her and never return again and di that evil government stole dr stinger technology, his work and his wife body for their own purpose and… Read more »
I really really really love the Stitches tv show. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! !!! Don’t leave us hanging!!!I am constantly checling on my Huguenot account to see if the next season has started yet.Please you can’t cancel. This show is so good it’s our lifeline as loyal fans holding our breath to see what happens with Cameron and Kirsten. To finally meet her mom.see new cases. Please please please don’t stop . I loved the show hate to hear that is was dropped. My only complaint with the show is that the wait between seasons was much too long, which surely hurt the ratings.
My father and I are big fans of stitchers and are so upset that it was canceled. We are dying to know what was supposed to happen next. We really want this series to come back. Please bring it back!!!!
I was a huge fan during the first 2 seasons. And I mean HUGE. It was new, different, interesting. But my interest did decrease drastically. I haven’t even watched the last 7 episodes yet so I’m not surprised it got cancelled. That being said, I have watched the ending and the show definitely needs something extra to wrap things up.
This and Rosewood my favorites they cancel all my favorite shows very sad
