It looks like Survivor is headed back to Fiji. According to Inside Survivor, the CBS series will soon begin filming seasons 35 and 36 at the tropical location.
Season 34 of the long-running reality show was filmed in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands. Titled “Game Changers,” the new season will feature 20 returning castaways, including Sandra Diaz-Twine, Cirie Fields, Ozzy Lusth, Michaela Bradshaw, and Caleb Reynolds.
Inside Survivor reports the next two seasons of the reality show will also be filmed in Fiji and begin shooting sometime this spring. The show’s casting site confirms season 35 will begin production at the end of April. Though CBS has not officially renewed the series yet, it is all but confirmed.
While ratings have declined over the years, season 33 of Survivor still averaged a strong 1.81 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.380 million viewers. Season 34 debuts on CBS tomorrow, March 8th, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
