Can Robyn stay one step ahead of the law while helping those in need in the first season of The Equalizer TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Equalizer is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of The Equalizer here. *Status Update Below.
A CBS action crime series, The Equalizer TV show stars Queen Latifah, Chris Noth, Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Liza Lapira, Adam Goldberg, and Laya DeLeon Hayes. The story follows Robyn McCall (Latifa), an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background. She uses her extensive skills as a former CIA operative to help those with nowhere else to turn. To most, Robyn appears to be just an average single mom who is quietly raising her daughter (Hayes) and living with her aunt (Toussaint). However, to a trusted few, Robyn is The Equalizer, an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who’s also dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption. Joining Robyn as champions of justice her former CIA handler (Noth), an edgy bar owner and past colleague (Lapira), and a paranoid and brilliant white-hat hacker (Goldberg). As Robyn aids the oppressed and exploited, her work garners the attention of a shrewd NYPD Detective (Kittles) who doggedly seeks to uncover the identity of the vigilante known as “The Equalizer”.

The Equalizer is a very smart and caring show. I like how she has a heart of gold to help people who are in need. My husband and I watch this every week. Please give it a chance ! I am tired of really getting to know the characters on a very good show and then seeing it took off. Please keep it on! Thank You !
possibly the worst most unbelievable show EVER!
I really like the new look for the Equalizer and I’m hoping that it will remain for a little while it’s a good Role for Queen Latifah to take on.
Reboots are tricky, it is like using someone’s receipe and trying NOT to change two much of it to match our taste. Major changes, then you are not making the same thing anymore you are making something new. Even Coke found this out when they played with their Formula. When writers fail to follow the formula or receipe then epic failures. Three possible exceptions are SWAT, Magnum PI, and Lost In Space I believe on Amazon. Agree mostly, but dude, two, to and too, show some effort and proofread better. I just don’t think those actors are good solo and together it just feels like butt kissing to appease people who just want a show with no men and/or folks of color on one of the four big networks.
Really didn’t care for Denzel’s version, this one seems to fit better to me and I’m not a fan of reboots at all. Don’t care for the new SWAT or Magnum PI.
Loved the show. It’s great to see a female in the role of The Equalizer. Kept our interest the entire show. Hope it is renewed!
I think this is going to be a really good show, started out a little slow,but I believe it will be worth watching
Really enjoyed the Equalizer and will continue to watch. Someone looking out for the little person feels good. Enjoyed the mental toughness as well. Although it’s just a character as an African American woman I enjoy Queen’s versatility.

Typo in my part: Thumbs down with this reboot. It can’t touch the Edward Woodward earlier tv series and Denzel’s big screen versions. QL has great screen presence but she’s out of her league, unfortunately, in this muddled mix. speaking for myself.
Thought the fight scenes looked staged. Not real force in the throws-hope it gets better or not dont plan to watch anymore.

Then make an original character and show to stand on it’s own merits. What’s Halle Berry? You don’t re write history. We are not going to remake Shaft into a 5 foot white girl. Toussaint is a bad actress n don’t help.
I watched for the first time tonight although I was tired it kept my attention. Interested in where the show goes and if The Queen can tow the line!
not too much action, just more talk than anything..storyline was not intellectually stimulating, slow moving, basically boring I expected more action Helen Mirren had more action in Red
