It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Finder TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

Those guys at FOX dont know what they’r doing for sure. They cancel all awesome shows even though they have open endings or enough ways to continue. I know this is a “forum” for The Finder but I want to mention that also Terra Nova was one of the best shows I saw and also this one was cancelled with a major open ending so all fans are left with many questions. All FOX wants is us to watch more of the same police like series.

My husband and I love the finder and are really disappointed that it has been canceled. The writing is good, and the actors work so well off of each other; it’s hard not to get totally involved.

I loved The Finder. I’m so upset they cancelled it but not surprised. They’ll probably replace it with a stupid reality show that’s full of trash! BRING BACK THE FINDER!!!!
This was my favorite show on tv, one of the few both my wife and I really looked forward to watching together. The network never gave them any advertising or promotion, what a shame. All this show needed wa s alittle exposure and a second season and it could have become a major hit, such great characters and so well written. A unique and quirky show with a big heart. We will miss it.
me and my dad love this show its one of the few we can sit and watch together… please dont cancel it.

Let Fox know that you want to keep a great show.
Thanks!
I definitely LOVED the show and was only able to watch it on Hulu because of the air time. Sad it got cut 🙁
Me and my family LOVE the finder! Friday nights were a bad choice though, we had to catch up online as soon as it was posted. It defiantly should not be canceled it was one of the best I’ve ever seen! Plus too many unanswered questions from the final…
The finder was awesome! I think they screwed it when they put it at such a crappy airing time. The storylines are incredible and Geoff Stults is an amazing actor. This show is one of the best shows fox has had and they’re canceling it. So sad to find out.
The show should have been placed earlier in the evening. My daughter and I had to watch it On Demand because she had school the next day. We have to do this with Castle too. The Finder would have been as big a hit as Monk: The Finder’s execs should try to shop this show to USA. This would be a hit on that show!!! When The Finder moved to Friday, we had something to look forward to, to end the week. There used to be a Friday night line up that parents and kids could watch and relax and… Read more »
FX, USA or ABC Family would be a good fits for The Finder, but NOT FOX (the hair-trigger, cancellation king) or TNT ..
Yet again cancelling another good show while keeping garbage like The Fringe! I’m so frustrated with these networks, every time there is a good new show it is cancelled after 1 season. Moving it to Friday night????? Bad idea, no wonder the ratings dropped …. BRING BACK THE FINDER I’M RUNNING OUT OF GOOD PROGRAMS TO WATCH!!!! Good thing for Netflix, rewatching all the old tv shows!
Me-TV and This-TV are great channels for old TV shows.
It is hard to imagine why all the sites I have visited in the past week show that The Finder had a fanbase, moreso over any of the other similar shows on Fox, and it didn’t get renewed, or another fair shot. When shows get little advertising, and shoved off to a poor night, it’s unfair. Friday nights are not great TV nights. And Fox needs to concider the ratings they canot get to, outside the USA. There were worldwide fans of the show that watched it on their own networks. Fox needs to wake up and smell some of… Read more »
Me and my olelady both watch and she was at first uncertain and I liked at first , but we was hooked and didn’t know till just read that it was canceled.bring back on!
I hate that they cancelled the finder. I was really into it and actually got into Bones because of it. Before this, I usually never watched Fox. Now, I may not.
without the finder ,well as for me and my house we`ll never watch anything on fox
