A former cast member of The Good Doctor is returning for a visit to the ABC series. Antonia Thomas is returning for a guest arc later this spring. Her character, Dr. Claire Browne, departed to take a job at a Guatemalan clinic at the end of season four.
Starring Freddie Highmore, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, Christina Chang, Fiona Gubelmann, Will Yun Lee, Bria Samoné Henderson, Noah Galvin, Osvaldo Benavides, and Paige Spara, the series follows the medical staff of San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.
Per Deadline, no details about Thomas’ return have been revealed. When she departed the show last year, Thomas had said she was not against returning to the ABC medical drama as a guest at some point.

Yes! She made a big difference in the show. Good Claire, just like too bad Dr Melendez didn’t stay. Love the show. I think it helps most of us to understand autism .
Yes, very excited and happy for Claire to come back and love for her to stay not just guest. To be honest, not always watching now and that would keep me with Good Doctor! Just the other day I literally was remembering when she was on and really liked the show and wished she would come back.

She really was an asset to the show. They should have her return permanently. She was a wonderful and caring doctor on show. They haven’t found any interns that have much personality or add to the show so they need her or new characters that have more personality.

Yes! I absolutely love Claire. She was one of my fav characters. I miss her being onbthe she. Hopefully, she can and will be persuaded to come back.

This show is done, the autism storyline is old, and uninteresting now. The rest of the characters are not entertaining.
I am looking forward to her return. I do like the show. However, it wasn’t suppose to return until sometime in mid to late April. Because The Promised Land was suppose to still be airing on ABC. But stupid ABC moved it to Hulu and so The Good Doctor was brought back early. Bad move ABC.
Just pay her to stay!
I did enjoy the character of Dr. Brown, so I look forward to her return to the show, even if it is only for a short arc.
