What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC psychic police procedural, The InBetween stars Harriet Dyer, Paul Blackthorne, Justin Cornwell, Anne-Marie Johnson, Cindy Luna, Chad James Buchanan, Andres Joseph, Michael B. Silver, and Sean Bulger. The paranormal drama centers on Cassie Bedford (Dyer), who is gifted with abilities she often considers a curse. Cassie has unbidden visions of events past and future and is also approached by spirits who need her help in some way. She gets drawn into the cases her foster father, Seattle Police detective Tom Hackett (Blackthorne), works with his new partner, former FBI profiler and LAPD detective Damien Asante (Cornwell).

Will NBC cancel or renew The InBetween for season two? The ratings have been quite low but they have been consistent. I suspect this summer series will be cancelled but NBC could keep it because it’s a summer series and they have lower expectations. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. It’s a great show with an excellent story line and plot. I am very frustrated by the fact that if renewed for a 2nd season it will only be released mid-2020! By that time I will probably have lost interest. There is a certain momentum that’s lost when you have a wait a year or longer to continue a series. If you want to build a fan base and continued ratings on a new series you sure don’t want the trail to grow cold. Not the best strategy in my mind. Hi, I really love this show and really hope there will be a second season and more. When you”re housebound it’s nice to see something you like that’s new instead of the same old repeats. I hope it comes back

Please please please renew The Inbetween. I have been waiting for it to restart. I look every couple days checking for info. We who love the slightly strange and what “might be out there” are hoping for it to return.
