An ABC sitcom, The Kids are Alright stars Michael Cudlitz, Mary McCormack, Sam Straley, Caleb Foote, Sawyer Barth, Christopher Paul Richards, Jack Gore, Andy Walken, and Santino Barnard. The 1970s-period comedy centers on the Clearys, an Irish-Catholic family living on the outskirts of Los Angeles. This show lost less viewers than the Connors! So please keep it. It’s a very funny show & one of only 2 or 3 we watch on ABC.

I love The Kids Are Alright! It’s hilarious. Sure hope it gets renewed!!!
As a former English Teacher, I spent much time on grammar items such as this one: there IS NO USAGE OF THE WORD ALRIGHT; IT SHOULD BE ALL RIGHT.
So THAT’S your problem with the show? The show is great & so is the cast.
Just discovered this show for the first time last night. My husband, my 15 year old son and I LOVED it. The actors are all great but the Mom is particularly funny! It brings my husband and I back to our childhoods. I am sending out a text today to friends to let them know about this really funny show as I know they will love it too. It seems like a cross between Caddy Shack and The Wonder Years. I hope it gets a season 2.
I sure hope this show gets a Season 2. It’s one of the truly funny shows currently on television. It’s smart, funny and the mom has the best lines and gives the best looks when she know the kids are up to something. Makes me laugh every time. If you grew up in the 70s you will have a whole new appreciation for it. Please keep this one!
Not just the 70s! You’re right, this show is definitely a keeper!
Keep this show, do you know how many baby boomers are watching this. With cable bills high. Nice to see good show on tv
And we baby boomers don’t seem to have any clout but we do have spending power! Love this show, too.
There are only two comedies in the past 10 years that I think are worth watching and this is one of them. It’s a step up from the others without the canned laughter. Has a Leave it to Beaver feel to it.
This is the first network comedy that makes me laugh out loud in decades. Love it!
Smart, fast moving show. Great dialogue – great laughs. Show grows on you.
Love this show. Mary McCormack is wonderful as the mother and the writing is witty and intelligent.
I certainly hope this show gets a chance.
