What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Enjoyed the first episode but debated whether to continue watching. After viewing the second episode, I was hooked & am now an avid fan.

I really enjoyed this series. I feel it was quite representative of times past however, it is what many family oriented people would truly hope to find for themselves. Many people would seek out this type of environment. Thank you for bringing our old childhood neighborhood back home and also, for showing those who weren’t fortunate enough to ever live in such a time, it can be created. Live it if you want it!
We really hope “The Village” will be renewed . The characters are very real and their relationships & struggles are very believable. Love the concept of community that is portrayed! Please give it at least another season.

Please bring back the Village! My kids and I watch it together! Its real and I love that. We are all pulling for the characters that could be our real neighbors. Bring it back!!!!!!
Please, please do not cancel this show. It is one of the very few I never miss. I love how the lives of the characters have been woven together and the actors ha r been so well cast.

Don’t. Even. Think. About. Canceling. This. Show!! It’s warm and thoughtful and touches you to the very bottom of your soul. I’m invested in these characters and want – no need to follow them all on their journeys. One season is not enough…please, please don’t give up on it!!

Please do not cancel the Village. It’s very good with heartwarming stories and important issues facing families today! It makes u feel like u are part of the family living in that apartment building. Love It!!!
This is a great show about how people really care about others and r always there for them. It shows us that diverse people can live together and become family without being related. It has a good message that this country needs to hear and see . If NBC cancels another good show I will just watch cable ! You never give a show a chance ! One season in and then u cancel.
