What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC action adventure drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. Season two picks up right after the events of last season and follows Rufus (Barrett), Wyatt (Lanter), and Lucy (Spencer) on their quest to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. This season they’ll find an unlikely ally in their mission to destroy Rittenhouse, a deadly organization Lucy’s family has been a part of, for centuries. As they try not to change the past, they will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981 and more, and encounter Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst, and other influential historical figures.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Timeless averaged a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.64 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 45% and 43%, respectively. Find out how Timeless stacks up against other NBC TV shows.
Timeless has been cancelled. There will be no season three, but NBC has ordered a two-part Timeless finale movie which will air December 20, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Timeless for season three? It’s in a tougher timeslot and the ratings have really suffered. I suspect that Timeless will be cancelled and won’t return for a third season unless there’s some reason that makes this show very cheap to produce. Season two benefited from tax incentives but I don’t think season three would have the same break. For now, I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I really do wish there is a series 3 off timeless I am from the uk I don’t watch it when it’s on I record it and then watch it when I have time I love this program so when it’s on e4 I am estatic and look forward to it every week
Please, please renew! Way to many cliffhangers to leave us dangling. Perhaps a half season to close the series? That second lifeboat opened another door as to how Lucy &Waytt came in the same timeline! I really don’t care if they stop Rittenhouse, save Rufus and let them go on. Just three up pending story lines PLEASE !!!!!!
My husband and I absolutely love this show. We record it and watch it as a date night every week. It is so interesting and keep Us riveted. Our adult daughters also watch this show. It is a decent show and we really appreciate this type of clean shows to watch. I desperately hope they do not cancel this!
This show would of performed better if they didn’t burry it at 10pm Sundays. Instead of poorly executed, banal, and lazy Dick Wolf garbage that is dark and violent enough to be aired after 10, they should of had Timeless in a slot that people watch. Because of its time slot I was relegated to watching the entire series on Hulu. Probably the best thing would be cutting The Voice down to 2 hours a week so they can develope drama series instead of burning people out on two nights of The fake Voice. Maybe they’ll do that. Please renew Timeless. It is a great show. Also, please move it to another timeslot, 10 p.m. is too late for those of us who have to get up early for work. It is a wonderful show.
Please renew timeless for season 3!!! Very popular with younger teens – network should take more!!!
i don’t mind the show , but the writers sucks , they already got canceled once instead of giving their fans a good ending ( as they are expected to be canceled again ) they end it with a cliffhanger, hoping for a renewal, they suck

Wow! Episode 10 has just aired here in the U.K. It was amazing, as was the whole season. Everything about it is first class – stories, acting, music, humour, drama. And the ending made be tingle!!!! Hope NBC realise what a great much-loved show they have here. Thanks!

I love Timeless. I enjoy the subtle commedy interjected when the crew goes into the past and introduces themselves as TV show characters. I also like seeing the historical figures come alive and interact with people from the future on occasions that they end up doing so like in the episode with JFK. I was in DC the day Ronald Reagan was shot so it was interesting for me reliving that day. I use the app ” We’re related” and some of my famous possible relatives have shown up on the show. Comon guys it’s a great show history and alternate history all in one.what more could one ask of a tv series.
Best TV drama, network and streaming, hands down. Reason? The characters and acting are 1st rate. Besides, we all could use a brush-up history lesson each week.

I really like Timeless – it’s the only drama of it’s kind on TV. It’s very well done and it’s getting better! Ep 10 of series 2 shows that the thinking is getting deeper and prospects of real time-travel paradoxes are appealing. I would be unhappy if it was not continued! My wife watches it too.
