What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC action adventure drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. Season two picks up right after the events of last season and follows Rufus (Barrett), Wyatt (Lanter), and Lucy (Spencer) on their quest to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. This season they’ll find an unlikely ally in their mission to destroy Rittenhouse, a deadly organization Lucy’s family has been a part of, for centuries. As they try not to change the past, they will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981 and more, and encounter Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst, and other influential historical figures.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Timeless averaged a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.64 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 45% and 43%, respectively. Find out how Timeless stacks up against other NBC TV shows.
Timeless has been cancelled. There will be no season three, but NBC has ordered a two-part Timeless finale movie which will air December 20, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Timeless for season three? It’s in a tougher timeslot and the ratings have really suffered. I suspect that Timeless will be cancelled and won’t return for a third season unless there’s some reason that makes this show very cheap to produce. Season two benefited from tax incentives but I don’t think season three would have the same break. For now, I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Timeless is by far my favorite show! My wife even watches with me one of the few shows that we agree on. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we will see back for a 3rd season.

Timeless has to be brought back for a 3rd series. We aren’t at the end of series 2 in the UK year but this has to be one of the best TV shows I have seen ever

Me and my family LOVE this show. Everyone comes over Monday nights to watch this because we love watching it together. I love that it is a show the whole family can watch regardless of age. It is appropriate and enjoyable to all demographics. This show is smart and entertaining. We are always looking up historical facts after watching. Please don’t cancel this.
I love, love, love this show!!! There is nothing else like it on the air currently. It must be saved and renewed for a 3rd season. This show is so clever with multiple twist and turns through history. The costumes are beyond amazing and so are the actors and actresses. I give it a powerful 2 things up and can’t wait to see what comes next for the story line, so please renew!
I love this show and it is worth continuing. I am tired of finding a great series that I love and then they cancel. Maybe if they advertised it like they do their lousy shows then it would do even better
I love Timeless!!!! Please don’t leave us hanging…. do they get Rufus back from the dead????? Do they save the world from Rittenhouse???? Does Lucy end up with Wyatt or…….. Flynn????
But how will we know what happens to Rufus if they don’t bring it back!!! I have to know what happens to Rufus!!!!!!!
If they hadn’t of cancelled it in the first place, they might have had a better showing. Give it a chance. This is one of the best shows on TV. Not only is it a great show, it’s a great history lesson. I love it
Please keep Timeless on the air- There is not much interesting these days and this show is fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed weekly by our family.
Can you please renew Timeless for another series as I find it very interesting that they go to many events that has happened over many year in history.
