Although the clock is ticking, NBC still has not announced whether Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan’s Timeless is cancelled or renewed for season three. The Timeless fanbase, which often self-identifies online as #Clockblockers, has been campaigning hard for a season three renewal, despite the TV show’s low ratings in the second season. That season only happened thanks to the fans. When NBC cancelled Timeless, after its freshman outing, there was such an outcry that the network then reversed itself and renewed the series.
Today, knowing the fans feel as bloodied and battered as Wyatt (Matt Lanter), Lucy (Abigail Spencer), and Flynn (Goran Višnjić) look in the above photo, the writers acknowledged the long wait on their official Twitter account. They also made sure to thank fans for their hard push for a third season pick up. Check out their messages, below.
An NBC time-travel drama, Timeless also stars Malcolm Barrett, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. As the Time Team, their mission is to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. Susanna Thompson, Annie Wersching, and Michael Rady recur in season two as members of the nemesis organization, Rittenhouse.

UPDATE: We know it's frustrating to our fans to not have an answer yet re: #RenewTimeless. We've been led to believe a couple times that an answer was imminent only to have answer pushed. Unsure if that's good/bad. Just know we're fighting hard for #Timeless.

Please bring back Rufus!! I love watching timeless, so much better then any of the COUNTLESS reality TV shows on all the time! Every week I couldn’t wait for the next episode!! Timeless is very entertaining and it’s a show that my entire family can sit and watch together……please dont cancel
Timeless is a “Timeless Series” that both educates and entertains its fans. The cast is terrific and they do an awesome job of bringing our American History alive as they “Time Travel”in their “Life Boat”!! I found this series mentioned in the Washington Post Arts section and was hooked from the very first episode. I am now heartbroken that this wonderful series has been cancelled. Please renew the series Timeless. My wife and I really enjoy the show and have told other friends and family about it. when moved to Sunday night we had to record the show due to going to church but could not wait to see what happened next. It is definitely one of the best shows on TV. I agree with other fans that a better time slot will provide better ratings.
Please renew TIMELESS for a 3rd season. It is one of the best shows I have seen in years on television…. It is entertaining, funny and educational. I love seeing the historical events and I learn some new things in history that I did not know before.

Please oh please keep the show running. This has been thr best series we have watched in so very long. Me and my husband both lo e and watch it and i have even gotten other friends to watch it who are now hooked as well. The story, the costumes,the history. There is no show like it
