What’s this TV show about?
Airing on the ABC television network, To Tell the Truth is an updated version of the classic TV panel game show. Black-ish star Anthony Anderson hosts a panel of four celebrities. They meet three people, all of whom claim to be the same person, with the same incredible talent, job, or achievement. Only one has sworn to tell the truth, though. The celebrities try to deduce which one is who they say they are. Season two panelists include Jalen Rose, Ashley Graham, Angela Kinsey, Donald Faison, Lara Spencer, David Arquette, Tom Bergeron, Sherri Shepherd, Kal Penn, Justin Long, Nikki Glaser, Adam Rodriguez, Ross Mathews, Iliza Shlesinger, Cedric the Entertainer, Martha Plimpton, and Jamie Chung. Anderson’s mother, Doris, also returns to add her own commentary.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of To Tell the Truth averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.57 million viewers. Compared to the first season, the show is down by 24% in the demo and down by 24% in viewership. Find out how To Tell the Truth stacks up against the other ABC TV shows.
On May 16, 2017, To Tell the Truth was renewed for a third season which will debut on June 10, 2018.

Telly’s Take
To Tell the Truth seems to be holding its own in the ratings — for the most part. While its numbers may seem low, game shows are far less expensive to produce than scripted fare. In other words, ABC gets more bang for fewer bucks. In addition, it’s important to remember that the first season was a summer series, while season two debuted on January 1st of this year. Summer shows face much less competition than series airing in the regular television. Right now, I expect ABC will renew To Tell the Truth for season three, although the network might want to rethink its scheduling.

This show is the worst that KABC has evere aired, The mother of this host is asinine and has a big mouth. You are loosing watchers every week, what a shame to wreck what was once avery good game show with a great host
