What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC spy drama, with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.

Will ABC cancel or renew Whiskey Cavalier for season two? The series premiered with mediocre numbers and have dropped much lower so I think this program will be cancelled. 5/12/19 update: Whiskey Cavalier has been cancelled so there won’t be a second season on ABC but the studio is shopping the series elsewhere.
5/23/19 update: There are discussions at ABC about possibly reversing the cancellation.

I love this show and am sad to learn it has been cancelled. Scott Foley is terrific in this role and the entire cast is a delight to watch. Hope some other network picks it up!

Out of all the networks I watch, since the tv show Lost, ABC has cancelled more start up shows than any other networks combined! It is so frustrating and disappointing that I’ve stopped watching ABC altogether due to the precarious nature of the networks choices. It’s sad, because I don’t think they take into consideration that people rarely watch live tv anymore. We DVR, or stream, etc. Are those ratings included?
Give it another season….please!

Please renew Wiskey Cavalier, we really enjoy the show. The story lines with such talented actors and actresses make the show one we look forward to each week.
Whiskey Cavalier has a strong lead actress and actor along with some very respected cast members that are equally talented. The show is well written and well directed which gives us an exciting episode every week. I stopped watching Blindspot cause Whiskey Cavalier gave me a much better show.

Please don’t watch whiskey cavalier. Maybe Maggie grinds will be on walking dead more often. I love her, but whiskey is poorly made.
OK so what you’re saying is Lauren ISN’T good enough for Whiskey Cavalier, but she’s OK for The Walking Dead series? OK. But you do know that Kang and Lauren stated in S9 that Maggie was only coming back to END her storyline on TWD.? So Lauren’s contact ended in S9. She wanted out before S9 remember? Lauren was on a partial contract going into S9 & now is on NO contract.
Please keep Whiskey Cavalier! Love the action, the character chemistry…
