Have you been watching Wisdom of the Crowd? The CBS TV show is headed towards its season one finale and all indications are that it will be the series finale as well.
The crime drama stars Jeremy Piven as Jeffrey Tanner, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur who sets out to design an online platform for real-time, crowdsourced crime solving after his daughter is killed. The cast also includes Richard T. Jones, Natalia Tena, Monica Potter, Blake Lee, Abigail F. Cowen, and Jake Matthews.
Season one has averaged a disappointing 0.92 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.07 million viewers, making it one of CBS‘ lowest-rated new series for the 2017-2018 season.
Last year, the network reportedly decided not to order any future episodes and star Jeremy Piven has also been the subject of recent sexual misconduct allegations.
What do you think? Should CBS have cancelled the Wisdom of the Crowd TV show? Would you have watched more season one episodes or a second season?
No, I do not think it should be cancelled. If you cancel programs because people mess up your not going to have any shows! It’s a good show of bringing people together and helping each other. Bring it back, he hasn’t been proved guilty of anything.
no it should not be cancelled its to good
NO IT SHOULD NOT! I STILL WANNA KNOW WHO KILLED HIS DAUGHTER! MAYBE IF IT WOULD AIR ON A WEEKDAY IT COULD HAVE BETTER RATINGS..
This is a great premise and I think it could get better and better. Couldn’t they get another name star? I vote to not cancel.
I am thrilled by the women finding their collective voices. However we can’t start lopping off heads. There is due process. About the show, I love it. I am curious to see where they can take it and not get repetitive. Not being a person into computers or having a smart phone I am surprised that I got hooked.
yes i enjoy the program — it is different a the actors are great–yes I would keep watching …
I think Wisdom of the Crowd is a GREAT show! I have watched or dvr’d every episode. I find it unique with a fresh plot line and subject matter rather than same tired police drama or stupid “reality shows.
This cancellation is a bummer! This show was edgy, tackling the reality of social media and it’s effects, while exploring a parallel positive use of it. It’s a shame to cut the possibility of continuing this venture for the other cast and crew members and for us viewers -don’t the viewing hours we’ve invested into this show at least deserve a proper ending? Why does it have to end – ratings? I’m not really convinced. IF, and I say IF, the allegations prove to be founded, of course Mr. Piven should be penalized – simply cut him out of the… Read more »
Wisdom of the Crowd in my mind was just getting started….there is a lot more to this series than just season one. If cancelled there are lots of things we will never know how they turn out.
It was a very good show and should not have been cancelled because of the rampant Political Correctness. These alleged sexual abuse, harassment and misconduct allegations have been weaponized just to get rid of someone you don’t like. I agree Shevaun about “Innocent until proven guilty” and whatever happened to Due Process. A person’s word is not evidence of wrong doing, only an accusation.
Love it! Keep it!
No it should NOT be cancelled! Also, what the heck has happened to innocent until proven guilty!!!!!!!!!!!
WOTC is toast. CBS has cancelled this disappointment.
No… This show is great… I never miss an episode. It is one of the smartest shows
