What do you think? Do you like the Zoo TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
I like the series and will probably make it a point to pick up the book. To all the (so-called, hahaha) “critics” who have disparaged this series, let me suggest that you get your collective heads out of your collective butts and stop getting constipated over the thought that humans might have to pay up for all our sins against the environment and other species over the millenia. Humans aren’t the be-all, end-all creature entitled to do as we please “because.” If it “bothers” you to see human suffering payback for bad behavior, think about why a writer or cinematic… Read more »
Eva, f get the book, be prepared for it to be different from the series. While the basic premise is the same, there are many different situations including the main animal. But both the book and the series are excellent.
TYPO! It should be IF YOU GET THE BOOK. Sorry!
pls add sesason 4 i love this show at least 1 last season ya going to cut the series like that no pls add season 5
I like the show, I read the book, my only complaint is the bad acting by Kristin Connolly or maybe she is just so annoying. Her facial expressions at times do not fit what is going on.
Enjoy the show. Especially enjoy Billy Burke’s performance. Watched him in Revolution and now Zoo. He bring’s sarcastic and dry humor to the show with his sense of timing. I have read the book, which I throughly enjoyed, and shall enjoy watching the show to see how they unravel the plot on TV. Keep the show. Do not cancel, please!!
I enjoy the series. We look forward to it every week. I haven’t read the book, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. The story is well done and the acting In it is very good.
I really like the show but im on episode 3 and its been going very slowly. i want to see more but i hope now that all of the different characters have become one group i would really love to see the story speed up a little.
i still love the show keep it on the air!
I vote to renew the series “Zoo”. Even though it is very different from the book, I recovered from the surprise and really like it. I just wish that some of the original characters like the chimpanzee were part of the storyline. In the book I really liked using the PHD dropout and his geeky friends to identify the the cause and get the government to admit there was a problem. Right now, I’m not sure how all of the different story threads are going to come together in the TV series-but it will be cool to see it unfold.
I made the mistake of reading the book (a 1000 times better & nothing like the series) before watching the series. Personally the series is rather boring, I’ll give it a couple more episode’s & if it’s no better I will be tuning to something else.
I agree about the book. However, if you’ll suspend your memories about the book, you’ll find the series does hold your attention. I, too, felt as you do, but accept the series as it is and find it engaging.
What is in a book won’t always work on screen and also if they intend to make a series run for as long as say Star Trek for ? 7 years or longer then it has to be able to have story changes to fit. I love James Patterson books!!! Love the TV version of ZOO!!
i feel zoo and the whispers should be renwed. i think they are different and keep you guessing.
i completely agree with you on that i think zoo should be renewed
OK. I give. By suspending the memory of the book, this series is pretty good.
darn shame someone didn’t think to make this and hour long show
Are you kidding? Or are you just being sarcastic.
lester wallis – it IS an hour long, what you talking about?
Nan – I just reserved the book from the library, will get it next week.
Commercials are what pays for FREE TV – if they bother you that much, record the show and watch it on replay – 15 minutes in; and you can FAST-FORWARD all the breaks and be done at the same exact time as if you watched it LIVE.
The previews after the show ended, gave away too much! The guy in the tree lives, the girl and guy hook up and a few other things! Hire better editors???
What are you talking about? That was the episode just viewed!
I like the show..however the commercials were killing the show off. Please limit the ads and you’d have more viewers. Thanks
Don’t forget that it’s the ads which are paying for the show to be on TV in the first place. As for the show itself, if you haven’t read the book, the show will be interesting. However, having read the book, I’m withholding judgment for a couple more episodes to decide if I’m going to continue watching. In my humble opinion, the book (so far) is better.
hey nan are you in advertising or maybe you you work for a tv station just wondering becouse your awfull concerned about advertising reveniew
No, not at all. A previous posting complained about all the ads and I simply pointed out that without the ads, there would be no show. They are what pay for it to be made and broadcast.
Luke, please see the comment above yours, written by Abby. That is the comment to which I responded.
FRIST EPISODE WAS KILLER!!!
I hope they don’t cancel this. I really like it.
I hope they don’t cancel it. I ACTUALLY watched it last night and I don’t actually like watching American tv shows anymore.
I read the book as well and I think it is actually put together better than it was in the book. Sorry James Patterson. It’s suspenseful and has a good message to it, and if PETA actually got off their high horse and checked it out they would realize how much FOR the animal kingdom the storyline is.. Considering the storyline… I DON’T think that they are abusing animals as they claim the show is doing.
My husband and I read the book. Frankly, we like the book better. The people who wrote and directed the series took a LOT of dramatic license with the story! Will try a couple of episodes but may skip the series because the book slowly builds to a thrilling climax with a twist that you really don’t see coming. I wonder how much influence Patterson had in the making of the series, because the only similarity we see is the name of the series and the fact that some animals attack and kill humans – not a foreign concept.
I don’t think they will cancel it, it’s doing well in the ratings.
It is a WONDERFUL SHOW!!! I hope it is not cancelled, I look forward ever year for the show. Wish it was always on every week!
