The 9-1-1 franchise is officially getting expanded. ABC has ordered a new spin-off series of the franchise just weeks after 9-1-1: Lone Star ended, and the franchise is staying in the south. According to Deadline, 9-1-1: Nashville will air on ABC during the 2025-26 season.
Other locations were considered for the series, including Las Vegas and Hawaii, but those involved with the series settled on Nashville. ABC was offered a significant tax credit to film the series in that city.
Rashad Raisani is working with Ryan Murphy and Tim Minear on the project. He was the showrunner on 9-1-1: Lone Star. The cast members of that series have also expressed interest in appearing in the spin-off.

The 911 series is grade A. Then the started last season with three ridiculous poorly written badly acted shows then ended the season. What idiots cane up with that idea? Were they trying to get the show canceled after several successful seasons?
We can’t even get a decent season of the original 911 lately but continue to make spin-offs. Lonestar started off good then quickly became the TK show whick was horrible.
So are both 911s cancelled?
I will be watching 9-1-1 Nashville; I love all 9-1-1 shows. I hope that they bring the others too. Vegas, New York and whatever else come with it.

LOVE the 911 series shows! I will DEFINITELY check out 911:Nashville but since I’m so upset that 911: Lonestar was cancelled that I will say….911: Nashville has some extremely large shoes to fill so I hope the cast and the series live up to it!
I wish they would have kept it going or even did a new York city series to keep Owen in it. After making be bawl in that last episode to finding out he was alive i was not ready for it to end

So we’re getting a 911 Nashville now then a 911 Hawaii Las Vegas so 911 is going to be like CSI now?
Yep and every single series of this show like CSI is not worth watching. We need them to greenlight actual good TV series and let this drivel fade away.
It doesn’t say they are making shows there. Those cities were in the running, but didn’t get picked.

So they cancel Lonestar and the immediately start Nashville? I already liked Lonestar. Not thrilled about starting over with the chance of a cancel when I start to really like it. We will see if I watch this one.

Man they need to stop with sequels to a mediocre original series. 3 spin-offs and what two are cancelled. I think this one shouldn’t have been greenlit.
