What do you think? Did you think that The Alienist TV show would be renewed for season two? Will you watch the sequel series?
I love the show, characters and all! I find it a captivating and interesting time piece…love shows that are dated late 19th – 20th century…I hope to see a season 2!
I have completely and utterly fell in love with this show. I hope that TNT renews this show for more seasons to come. The acting and chemistry between the characters was fantastic! I love the story line and the time period that it took place in. Can’t wait to see more!
This program is the best we have seen this year. I can’t wait for the next season to start! I’m so sick of the same old same old as usual; it’s a great beginning for all of us who want something new and outstanding!

I work with Autistic Children using Applied Behavior Analysis and working on my BCBA. I loved the show and it intrigued me to study the history of behavior analysis further. I would love to see a second season. The cast was fanominial!
I love period pieces, and this one really holds my interest, with elements of intrigue, corruption, disabilities (some related to abuse and some related to low gene pool issues, i.e., some of those on “the force”), and addiction. I don’t understand why Dakota Fanning is at the end of the credits. She is doing a great job in her forward-thinking role as a female at the police department and is exceptionally bright. She should be in the top three in billing. Please bring this show back!
I am really hoping for a season two. Love the characters and the set and looked forward to it every week. I’m even rewatching it!
This is an excellent show. It deserves a second season.
I enjoyed the first season of The Alienist. The actors were fantastic, the sets were fabulous and the storyline was intriguing. I was thrilled to see that, finally, there was a new show that wasn’t a mindless sitcom, didn’t revolve around yet another superhero and didn’t rely on the same ol’ cop show formula. Kudos! I’d love to see it renewed for a 2nd season.
