What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, the Alter Ego is hosted by Rocsi Diaz with Alanis Morissette, Nick Lachey, Grimes, and will.i.am serving as judges. The show provides a different take on an old format by combining talent and motion capture technology. In this competition series, lost dreams and second chances are reignited when singers from all walks of life become the stars they’ve always wanted to be. However, the contestants won’t perform as themselves. Rather, they’ll be given the chance to show how they’ve always wanted to be seen. They help to create their own dream avatar to reinvent themselves while showcasing their unique performance style via motion capture technology. In the first season, the contestants are The Dawn Majesty (Kaleia Ayelett), Queen Dynamite (Dasharra Bridges), Phoenix Embers (Danielle Cetani), Night Journey (Israa Darwich), The Loverboy (Anthony Flammia), Aster (Kaylee Franzen), Fern (Mia Cherise Hall), Misty Rose (Samaera Hirsch), St. Luna (Sarah Isen), Wolfgang Champagne (Matthew Lord), Nevaeh King (Jay Miah), Bernie Burns (Erny Nunez), Orlando Deville (Chase Padgett), Kingston Sol (James Paek), Wylie (Milton Patton [Yote]), Safara (Mariah Rosario [Riah Lena]), Seven (Kyara Tetreault), Dipper Scott (Jacob Thomsen [Calinoda]), Kai (Kobe Vang), and Siren (Mama Yaya [Yasmin Shawamreh]).
Season One Ratings
The first season of Alter Ego averages a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.20 million viewers in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but typically the higher-rated series are renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. Best show on Fox hands down. Music,tech and the stories of the artists,this show has something for everyone.
I believe Fox should renew Alter/Ego because it is new and refreshing and I and my family LOVED it. Looking to see great singers who wouldn’t a chance because of the way they look or sound or age. It really gives them confidence. Again Fox defiantly has to renew and keep it going. Thank you for your time.

I loved the show. Hope it is renewed. I have watched the season on on demand about three times sence it ended. Pleas bring it back.
Best show on fox a lot better than I can see your voice
I am so incredibly excited to hopefully have more seasons of this show. My three favorite alter ego avatars was Dipper Scott, Seven and Wolfgang Champaign and yes in that order. Dipper Scott was my top pick from his very first audition.
I loved Dipper Scott and Fern…I really hope this show comes back..way better than Masked singer that got too campy and doesn’t concentrate on the true talent of the singers!
Alter Ego, shouldn’t be cancel. It should only be made better. It should be a variety of different types of Alter Ego shows. For example, a comedian Alter Ego would be another good show, for shy and don’t have any confidence of themselves, like me and others that do not have a singing voice but can make other’s laugh.
I am hoping Alter Ego will continue. I really enjoyed this show and have never watched the Masked Singer so can’t compare the two.
Masked Singer is alright but Alter Ego is over the top, Alter Ego is supernaturally creatively much more entertaining I think and believe.much better.
Alter ego is way better than the over sensationalized Masked singer that stopped focusing on the talent and only centers on comedy of Nick Cannon and crew.
Alter ego I left after the masked singer ended today and mistake left my tv on so you got another view. Am 80% expecting to find out that episode 10 was your most watched episode. So maybe an show that show singers with so bad stage fright they can’t sing In public is an bad idea I mean what happened once the show end just in the studio no performances.
It gets even worse. Orlando Brown was the best performer of the night, and these no-nothing judges voted to send him home. Cancel this joke of a series.
The judges did not send him home. The Audience did. And the judges do know.
Unless they clean house with judges, cancel the show. There have too many singers go home that were FAR better than Dipper Scott to keep putting him through.
Please don’t cancel this show. It is amazing!!!! So uplifting for the contestant. Gives them so much confidence. Live how real the alter egos look. So enjoy this show.

Cancel this show and don’t give Yasmin Shawamreh aka Siren the light of day.
