An OWN primetime soap opera from Jamey Giddens and Will Packer, Ambitions stars Robin Givens, Essence Atkins, Brian Bosworth, Deena Dill, Gino Anthony Pesi, Kayla Smith, Kendrick Cross, Brely Evans, Brian White, Matt Cedeño, and Erica Page. Unfolding in Atlanta, Georgia, the family drama delves into the ways sex, love, power, and politics play out in The ATL. The series centers on former college best friends Stephanie Lancaster (Givens) and Amara Hughes (Atkins), who are now high-powered attorneys at odds in both the personal and professional arenas of their lives.

Will OWN cancel or renew Ambitions for season two? The ratings were pretty solid when it was following The Haves and the Have Nots. Though the numbers have dropped significantly without it, I still think that it will still be renewed. I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments.
