What’s This TV Show About?
An OWN primetime soap opera from Jamey Giddens and Will Packer, Ambitions stars Robin Givens, Essence Atkins, Brian Bosworth, Deena Dill, Gino Anthony Pesi, Kayla Smith, Kendrick Cross, Brely Evans, Brian White, Matt Cedeño, and Erica Page. Unfolding in Atlanta, Georgia, the family drama delves into the ways sex, love, power, and politics play out in The ATL. The series centers on former college best friends Stephanie Lancaster (Givens) and Amara Hughes (Atkins), who are now high-powered attorneys at odds in both the personal and professional arenas of their lives.

Will OWN cancel or renew Ambitions for season two? The ratings were pretty solid when it was following The Haves and the Have Nots. Though the numbers have dropped significantly without it, I still think that it will still be renewed. I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. I thought this was a good show and was disappointed when I watched episode 18 and learned there wasn’t going to be a second season. I’ve seen this happen before with other movies I have seen and liked and at the end of the first season it’s cancelled. You have to give these shows time to catch viewer’s. Just seen the show this month and started watching it. I only found out about it through watching shows on my fire stick. It’s a really good show. Everyone doesn’t use cable TV. I love ambitions it had me at the edge of my seat and bragging to all of my friends to watch it !!!! I’m so upset I just looked to see when a new season was coming been waiting awhile and it says canceled ?! Why ?! I honestly like it better then the haves and have not and other shows alike please please please bring back Ambitions signed a loyal viewer

I’m very disappointed there will not be a second season I never heard of the show until I was watching a movie on Starz and then Ambitions was sure nuff in the other show i may like section.. i was in love with cast! Ambitions was a good show. I’m so sick of you all starting shows then not renewing them! Tyler Perry ass ended if loving you is wrong terribly, Greenleaf is in it’s final season. Take away all those stupid shows like Bruh, Ruthless and many more that Nobody cares to see. Bring back the show Cherish the day that was good, and I like the have and the have nots, but it needs to be coming to an end also if you’re going to cancel everything else. I’m just disappointed in this crap.
I agree, I just binged Ambitions on STARZ, I loved this show and to end it like they did is ridiculous. I had no idea until I googled that it wasn’t coming back on. I watch Ruthless, Bruhs and etc and I wouldn’t bat and eye if they cancel those, but to cancel this show is crazy and just very disappointing. I think they could have at least did one more season just to finish the story, They left so much open..
Nothing good last on tv. The acting is superb and Robin Givens? Oh my!!! I like Tyler Perry and while I like his Sisters show, the acting is TERRIBLE yet it’s still on. OPRAH, stop chewing up and spitting out and learn to savor. BLACK STARZ, you need to have a convo with Will and his team. Nuff said!
