The original Beverly Hills, 90210 ran for 10 seasons on FOX, between October 1990 and May 2000. The hit tean drama from Darren Star, Aaron Spelling, and E. Duke Vincent begat a franchise which includes the 2008 reboot which ran for five seasons on The CW; two iterations of Melrose Place (1992 and 2009); and Models Inc. (1994). A comedy-drama, the BH90210 TV show is a spinoff of a different order.
In the new BH90210, Priestley, Doherty, Garth, Ziering, Carteris, Green, and Spelling play highly fictionalized versions of themselves, rather than their respective Beverly Hills, 90210 characters. What’s more, the new series does not acknowledge the existence of The CW reboot.
Developed by Chris Alberghini, Mike Chessler, Spelling, and Garth, BH90210 follows Spelling, Garth, Doherty, Priestly, Ziering, Cateris, and Green, as they decide to revive Beverly Hills, 90210. Rolling out the revival creates more soapy drama than is present in the show-within-the-show. When first loves, old flames, friends, and enemies reunite and try to pick up where they left off, anything can happen.
Episode #6 — The Long Wait
As the cast celebrates the wrap of the pilot, the looming news of a pick-up from FOX keeps them all on edge. Ian realizes his relationship with Anna might be a little too casual, Jennie thinks Wyatt might be in too deep, Tori gets frustrated with Nate, and Shay drops a major bombshell on Brian. Meanwhile, Jason and Camille come to a realization about their marriage, Gabrielle introduces her husband to Christine, and Shannen stresses over the future.

I thought it was boring.I loved the original but fell asleep during the premiere of the new one.I’m glad people like it.But I won’t be wasting my time.Sorry.
The airing of the new show coincided with the untimely death of my husband (38). I binge watched the original 10 seasons (minus the episodes that seem to be lost). It really helped me take my mind off things, and get a new perspective of y teenage year, as I was highly influenced by the show growing up. LOVE the reboot, and really hope it gets renewed!
RENEW pleease! I was so impressed with this show and how true they kept it to the original series with a great added dose of reality To feed the thirsty and loyal fan base! I am not much of a TV watcher anymore but I did seek out and watch every single episode on demand. I have a smile to my face every time watching these colorful, appealing and honest characters! Back in the 90s I was an avid 902100 watcher no other series has captured my attention since until now!
I love the new BH90210, please have another season
I loved the original 90210, and was skeptical about the reboot. But I love BH90210 and hope it gets picked up for Season 2. I think the show was great and loved seeing everyone – little older but still looking great!
Please Please Please pick up this show!!! I loved it!! It is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time! Every actor is amazing and I love watching them together! I hope FOX has a season 2 of BH90210!!! (if not, I will boycott FOX lol! )

BH90210 I would love to see a season 2. Season one was a tease. I must admit I am presently surprised because after the first episode I was disappointed. I think because I expected it to be a continuance of the original show. Nevertheless I stuck with it and it turned out to be good. Nice to see a new angle on a reboot show.
