It’s case closed on Big Sky. ABC has officially cancelled the series, eliminating chances for a fourth season.
A crime thriller series, the Big Sky TV series stars Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury, Dedee Pfeiffer, Jensen Ackles, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Reba McEntire, and J. Anthony Pena. Angelique Cabral, Rex Linn, Rosanna Arquette, Michael Malarkey, Luke Mitchell, Seth Gabel, Henry Ian Cusick, Anirudh Pisharody, and Madalyn Horcher appear in recurring roles. In the third season, private detective Cassie Dewell (Bunbury), undersheriff Jenny Hoyt (Winnick), and newly appointed sheriff Beau Arlen (Ackles) maintain order in Helena, Montana, with their investigative skills. The trio faces a formidable mystery when a local backcountry trip led by charismatic outfitter Sunny Barnes (McEntire) goes awry. No camper can be trusted and danger lurks around every jagged rock and gnarled tree.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the third season of Big Sky averaged a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.28 million viewers in the live+same day ratings (includes all DVR playback through 3:00 AM). Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 12% in viewership. It was one of ABC’s lowest-rated scripted series compared to other shows on the network.
The show added 110% more viewers in the live+7 day ratings, but that was not enough to secure a fourth-season renewal.
The fourth season of 13 episodes (the show’s smallest season) finished airing in January.

i dont think that it was fair to cancel big sky. because it was a good show.and who cares about the ratings.please change your mind and uncancel it now.and bring it back. and keep it on tv from now on okay.so reconsider it.because my mom sister and i like it a whole lot.so change your its been done for a lot of other shows too.
Who’s the moron in charge of cancelling shows??? Take off all the the good shows and keep the dumb “comedies” that ARE not funny and the stupid musical ones. Shows like Big Sky, Alaska Daily, and other dramas that are good to watch. Guess it’ll be more movies and nothing on ABC!!!
Another disappointment by ABC. I loved this show! I am really pissed. Let me guess. They are gona replace it with a stupid sitcom.
Time to stop watching tv. With Yellowstone gone..now my other favorite show. And Gray gone from Grays Anatomy.

Very upset & don’t agree that it was cancelled! Big Sky was mine & my husband’s favorite show! ABC leave it on the air! It was a great dramatic & suspenseful show!

Another good show that ABC has cancelled. I don’t think you have any good shows left on your station that I would want to watch. What are you going to replace it with? Another stupid game show or reality show? Again, if it is a good show, you can be guaranteed that ABC will cancel it. Again, shame on you.
What is wrong with ABC?? They are canceling Big Sky and The Company You Keep! These are my favorite shows as they are interesting. Why are they keeping other stupid shows and getting rid of the good and interesting ones?? I just hope another station picks them up!! Boo to you ABC!
