Is Blindspot on its way out? NBC has pulled the TV show from their Friday night lineup, Variety reports.
The drama centers on Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander), an amnesiac who is found in Times Square and may hold the key to a major conspiracy. The cast also includes Sullivan Stapleton, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, and Ennis Esmer.
Blindspot has been pulled from NBC’s Friday night lineup for the duration of sweeps, which begins this week and ends in late May. The series will return for the remainder of its fourth season on May 24th.
It’s unclear why NBC has removed Blindspot from its regular time, but it could be a sign the show is headed towards cancellation. Season four has continue to dip in the ratings and so far is averaging a .48 in the 18-49 demo and 2.835 million viewers. That’s a near 20% ratings decrease compared to season three.

Do not understand why good shows like Blindspot keep getting cancelled by Corporate Greeders. Guys, you are not going to get 25 million people watching your shows – stop being so greedy and let the good shows run.
I like Blindspot. I watched it every Friday night and now just when it was getting good.

Why do television executives continue to cancel great series in place of lame ones? I’m still stretching my head over this one.
I would be very sad and disappointed if Blindspot was cancelled. Cancel some of the dumb reality shows and leave the good ones on!!

Don’t cancel blindspot! It’s one of my favorite shows. The actors are great together. I seen where there’s a high possibility that your cancelling The Enemy Within as well. Why do you keep cancelling all the good shows?? You might consider another age group to go by instead always 18-49. Older people like me watch a lot of TV because we’re home more. Think about other people!!
That’s a really good point, because the younger generation watches shows streaming on their cell phones, and not network television, so why do they poll those that don’t count or matter? It’s the older generation that watches TV not the millennials.
AGREED. I AM AN INVALID. PRETTY MUCH WHEELCHAIR BOUND. TV IS REALLY MY ONLY FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT. DON’T CANCEL THE GOOD SHOWS!!!
Blindspot has been a favorite of mine since it first aired. I would sincerely dislike seeing it cancelled. The new shows that are now airing cannot compare to a well written and acted series.
