Fans of new TV shows often worry whether their new series will be cancelled or renewed for a second season. There’s now none of that bull when it comes to Bull. That’s right, the Bull TV show has been renewed for season two on CBS.
Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show stars Michael Weatherly as Dr. Jason Bull. The CBS cast also includes Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.
Airing on the CBS television network, season one of Bull is averaging a 1.53 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.85 million viewers, so the renewal makes sense. Find out how Bull stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

5 Freshman Series Part of Network’s Early Renewals
CBS today announced early renewals of 18 returning series for the 2017-2018 season, displaying the programming depth and stability of America’s Most Watched Network. Additional returning series pick-ups for next season will be announced at a later date.
The shows renewed to date include 6 comedies, 9 dramas, 1 reality series, 2 newsmagazines and a roster of hit programs across every night of the week. They also include the #1 scripted program/comedy THE BIG BANG THEORY; the #1 drama NCIS; the #1 new series BULL; the #1 new comedy KEVIN CAN WAIT; and the #1 newsmagazine 60 MINUTES.
In addition, 5 freshman shows are part of the Network’s early renewals, including BULL, KEVIN CAN WAIT, MACGYVER, MAN WITH A PLAN and SUPERIOR DONUTS.

CBS will finish the current season as America’s Most Watched Network for the 14th time in 15 years. The Network will announce its new fall 2017-2018 schedule on Wednesday, May 17 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Love, love this show. Totally different psychological series which keeps you guessing up to the end. Congrats to CBS for renewing a good, entertaining show (as opposed to all those horrible reality rubbish).
I love this show! I may not fit the demographics, but give the oldsters (60+) some consideration. I have seen to many really good shows end because the youngsters did not like them! So….Go Bull! Thanks CBS for renewing!!
W/due respect to Kay: Boo Hiss…I’m delighted that Bull is coming back. This show has all kinds of twists & turns and Bull doesn’t always win. Even the cast have their hidden secrets it seems. Ya Hoooo!!
Very disappointed. I’ve watched the first series hoping that we get to know the main characters in more depth, but as yet this hasn’t happened. To be honest I find the storylines becoming very tedious and repetitive. I was hoping that with the lovely Mr Weatherly having the lead role it would be much better.
I will not be watching Bull. It is a non dramatic totally boring show. Same concept week after week. Nothing worth watching.
A waste if a good actor and a waste of my time.

Bull is not bad but do miss him in NCIS. CBS could get rid of McGyver .. not a fan. He is way too young for the part.
