Kyra Sedgwick is returning to ABC. The network just announced they’ve ordered a new TV show with the Ten Days in the Valley star called Call Your Mother.
The comedy series, formerly known as My Village, “follows an empty-nester mom who wonders how she ended up alone while her children live their best lives thousands of miles away. She decides her place is with her family and as she reinserts herself into their lives, her kids realize they might actually need her more than they thought.” The cast includes Sedgwick, Rachel Sennott, Joey Bragg, Patrick Brammall, Emma Caymares, and Austin Crute.
Call Your Mother is set to debut on ABC during the 2020-21 season.

I watched the first couple of shows. Didn’t think you could lose with Kyra Sedgwick heading a show, but this is a loser! It’s not funny. Don’t like the two who play her kids and really don’t even like the character Kyra plays. They could have gotten some better writers for this show. What a waste of Kyra Sedgwick!

I felt really enjoyed watching the series premiere of ABC’s New Comedy Call Your Mother because I saw Joey Bragg from Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie with Dove Cameron and I should always be watching new episodes on Wednesdays at 9:30pm after The Conners

I looked it up and found it’s called Call Your Mother on Wednesday, January 13th, ABC, ch. 7 at 9:30 pm EST. So exciting that Kyra is in another show to watch !
Very few actresses are as fascinating as the great Krya Sedgwick ! I can’t wait till the show starts and am thrilled she is in a new show. A totally sublime talent !
How can you lose with such a smashing talent as Kyra Sedgwick ? She is utterly engrossing in any scene she is in. A totally special actor. I don’t care what the show is, she will make it work no matter who or what ! Kyra is a special star of genuine brilliance !
Loved Kyra in The Closer, but previews of this new show don’t look too good. We’ll give it a chance and see!
