What’s This TV Show About?
A police procedural airing on the NBC television network, Chicago PD stars Jason Beghe, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Marina Squerciati, Elias Koteas, LaRoyce Hawkins, Amy Morton, and Tracy Spiridakos. Mykelti Williamson recurs. The drama centers on the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s District 21, who pursue the perpetrators of Chi-town’s major street crimes. Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Beghe) is at the heart of the war on crime in Chicago and will do anything to bring criminals to justice.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of Chicago PD averaged a 1.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.40 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 12% and down by 2%, respectively. Compare its standing against the other NBC TV shows we are tracking.

Will NBC cancel or renew Chicago PD for a sixth season? The ratings have remained fairly steady so I’m confident that the drama series will score a renewal. Just started watching this show. I’m hooked. Love the cast, love the story lines. Great show. Hoping it comes back again and again. It really is just a good show to watch.

I love this show. As a federal agent for 32 years this is as realistic and it gets. Please bring back. It’s the best show on tv and best to come along in 20 years.
must make environment for a woman to work with mostly men characters to be a pleasant work enviroment without men forgetting we are in the 20th century-women today have the same training qualifications as a man, cops, lawyers, nurses, doctors, road side construction workers w/their hardhats, woman on the moon, FBI detectives, stay home daddy moms, tractor trailer trucks etc., goes on&on- clean it up so other females get the better needed treatment-You should have known when Sophia Bush left, ratings would drop. she took her job seriously, Chicago cop training, physical training as running, gym training-she is more stronger… Read more »
Please renew, I absolutely love this show. Great cast and it really keeps me on the edge of my seat a good bit of the time. They come up with some very good issues and is always top quality in my opinion.

I absolutely love this show! Although Erin is gone..its still my favourite show..the story lines are very well written and acting is Awsome! I look forward to every episode. I will be so disappointed and upset if this show doesnt continue. Each character adds greatness to the show
Please renew Chicago PD for season 6. It is obvious the show is not as good since Sophia Bush. She was a very strong character overall, and her chemistry with Jay Halstead romantically in a show is remarkable. When they were dating romantically outside of the show even the face expressions between them was obvious. Hopefully, her character will not be written off, and left open for her to return as “Jay’s” partner & love interest. Who knows, personally they may see their outside personal relationship is more important then they thought before. They look amazing together. I hope you… Read more »
