What’s This TV Show About?
A police procedural airing on the NBC television network, Chicago PD stars Jason Beghe, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Marina Squerciati, Elias Koteas, LaRoyce Hawkins, Amy Morton, and Tracy Spiridakos. Mykelti Williamson recurs. The drama centers on the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s District 21, who pursue the perpetrators of Chi-town’s major street crimes. Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Beghe) is at the heart of the war on crime in Chicago and will do anything to bring criminals to justice.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of Chicago PD averaged a 1.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.40 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 12% and down by 2%, respectively. Compare its standing against the other NBC TV shows we are tracking.

Will NBC cancel or renew Chicago PD for a sixth season? The ratings have remained fairly steady so I’m confident that the drama series will score a renewal. keep chicago pd on,it is one of the best shows on,they do things the way the real police should do it. Not subject to liberal or democrate ways
I grew up in Chicago and my dad was a cop. Some of this show is not accurate about Chitown cops or politics. The stories could be better and more exciting. Some humor at times would break up the boring plots. Read my dad’s book and get some real Chicago stories. This started out as a good show, but it needs an actor who goes nose to nose with voight. And why are the women cops always sleeping with their partners.
Please bring Olinsky back. His character is so valuable to the show. I started watching Chicago PD towards the end of season 5 and now all I do is watch all repeats of every season over and over again.
