Codes of Conduct is over before it began. According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has cancelled plans for its Steve McQueen drama.
HBO also recently scrapped production on their Lewis and Clark series, ordering the show back into development with a new writer.
From McQueen, Codes of Conduct was to be a limited series starring Paul Dano, Helena Bonham Carter, and Rebecca Hall. The series was to center on a mysterious, young African American man who enters New York high society.
No word yet on whether the series will move to another network.
What do you think? Would you have watched Codes of Conduct? Are you a fan of Steven McQueen’s work?
Oh, come on HBO…. you promise great new series then decide not to have them…. instead you show the same old movies over & over & over. I was looking forward to both CODES OF CONDUCT & especially LEWIS & CLARK!
