How will viewers react to the changes in the 29th season of the Dancing with the Stars TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Dancing with the Stars is cancelled or renewed for season 30. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. An ABC competitive reality TV series, Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Tyra Banks, with Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as returning judges. Six-time champion Derek Hough is new to the judges’ panel this season, replacing Len Goodman who will participate remotely. Celebrities competing in cycle 29 are Monica Aldama, Carole Baskin, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Vernon Davis, Anne Heche, Skai Jackson, Justina Machado, AJ McLean, Jeannie Mai, Jesse Metcalfe, Nelly, Nev Schulman, Charles Oakley, Chrishell Stause, and Johnny Weir. Professional dancers include Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Cheryl Burke, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, and Britt Stewart.

If you want to ruin a good show, just change the host! Tom Bergeron for 15 years was the life of DWTS and now with the new Tyra Banks change its just absolutely a mess! There was no cohesivenss to the show, everything was rushed, the fake audience response was too loud and the producers pairing up a particular star with a pro to win is too obvious. It’s a real shame that its come down to this instead of letting the show remain as it was. Change is not always the answer.
Did NOT like Tyra as host…she added nothing. Bring back Tom and Erin.

Did not care for Tyra Banks hosting. It was all about her. I can’t stand the model catwalk at the beginning with the ruffle red dress. She did that on AGT, and I hated it then. Bring back Tom Bergeron, please!
Tyra Banks is a terrible host. She was not good on AGT and terrible on DWTS. Bring back Tom. Will NOT be watching
I think Tyra as host is ridiculous I want Tom Bergeron and Erin we’re back. I loved Derek as a judge. My friends and I thought of not watching because of Tyra so if your ratings slip it is because of your new host. Tyra is okay on runway but not dancing with the stars. I sure you will get a lot of comments on this subject.
The show would have been perfect if Tom and Erin were still host!
Absolutely terrible always watched this year is an absolute terrible show all fake try again when it can be real I would order the fashion channel if I wanted to see Tyra in outfits and try to figure out her slang talk

This show took a dismal downward turn. Tara Banks is a terrible replacement. I will not be watching anymore.
Tyra cannot replace Tom and Erin. The show was bad. Tom and Erin were as much fun to watch as the dancers. Quick witted, funny, professional and warm. They had a real connection with each other and the dancers. Don’t know who’s big idea it was to fire them but you made a big mistake. You have ruined the show.
Have watched every season, it was different without an audience and I expected that, but the host changes really kill this show. Tom and Erin not being there makes all the difference. I turned off about half way through — don’t know if I’ll watch again!
Really bad! Won’t watch again unless Tom replaces Tyra. She was terrible.
This show has gone from a never miss to never watch. Tyra Banks is awful!
