How will viewers react to the changes in the 29th season of the Dancing with the Stars TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Dancing with the Stars is cancelled or renewed for season 30. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. An ABC competitive reality TV series, Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Tyra Banks, with Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as returning judges. Six-time champion Derek Hough is new to the judges’ panel this season, replacing Len Goodman who will participate remotely. Celebrities competing in cycle 29 are Monica Aldama, Carole Baskin, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Vernon Davis, Anne Heche, Skai Jackson, Justina Machado, AJ McLean, Jeannie Mai, Jesse Metcalfe, Nelly, Nev Schulman, Charles Oakley, Chrishell Stause, and Johnny Weir. Professional dancers include Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Cheryl Burke, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, and Britt Stewart.

The dancing fun as always! Tyra Banks awful, miss Tom and Erin. We have been watching since the 1st season, this may be our last. We watch on DVR now and skip anything to do with Tyra, seems like she’s making about her and not the contestants, how sad.
The show has run its course – time to be cancelled. Tyra Banks has no idea how to host a dance show where the emphasis is on ballroom dancing and not her costumes or inane comments. The show over the years has cancelled some of its best parts including having all time zones vote, placing less emphasis on the judges scores, less time spent on dancing either by the contestants or the pros only numbers, choosing people (contestants) who are are real stars in the entertainment and sports fields not reality show “stars”, allowing the pros to have more control… Read more »
2020 Dancing with the Stars ⭐️ Was great but, the Host was terrible and always dressed like it was Trick or Treat !! Terrible Host for this season, please correct it !
Love Derek as a judge. Hate Tyra Banks’ role! She needs to go!! Keep the show.
not a fan of dwts as long as Tyra is still there. If she come back next season I rather the show gets cancelled. This is not the Tyra banks show
Give show A for effort but Incomplete for delivering what fans know and love…A Dance show. Listen to fan feedback, make some changes and maybe all will work out. Right now the sound is bad, the Pro dancers are not featured and Tyra seems to present herself as the Star. With some of her interviews it’s hard to tell if she is the Host or Psychotherapist to the stars. I am disappointed.
This season is dreadful. I can’t imagine that it will be renewer. Banks is awful host. Production quality is poor. Blame it all on Tyra since she is the executive producer. Derick looks like a clown, who is dressing him?
It is not the Tyra Banks show, it is dancing with the stars. Her outfits are horrendous, no need for Her to change twice during the show. The costumes for the dancers this year are terrible, they look cheap..Something is wrong with the timing, the judges are rushed with their comments and I don’t think Tyra needs to ask the dancers questions after they perform. Give that time to the judges for their critiques.

Dancing with the stars has lost it. Season 29 is terrible, all that made the show interesting is gone. Hope it is cancelled at the end of this season, I quit watching after 5 episodes with it not getting any better.
I think that dancing with the stars should be cancelled. I am disappointed how unprofessional abc handled the firing of Tom and Erin. I used to look forward to watching the show every week. What is the real reason you fired Tom and Erin.
I agree the show sucks with T.Banks being the host. I used to watch show all the time but no more. She was not good when she was host on America’s Got Talent.
I miss Len. I love Derek, and his dancing. I hate the bad fashion show on your MC, as well as he silly chitchat. What is with the crazy lighting that I can’t see what the dancers are doing? The graphics are terrible. Thank goodness that rude audience is not there, and who ever thought the mechanical boos are cute needs a new job. You have good judges there because they are expert, let them be. One good thing that ERIN person is not there to criticize the judges. I have watched dancing with the stars since the beginning. I look forward to it every year, but since Tyra Banks has taken over, I am afraid I am no longer interested in watching. It’s not that I don’t like Tyra because I have watched her talk show, but I seriously miss Tom and Erin. They made dancing with the stars so much fun to watch, they were a huge part of the show. Tyra just doesn’t seem to fit in and she doesn’t interact well with the dancers. Too bad, another good program gone.
The charm of the show is gone. Tyra is a train wrecķ. Her outfits are distracting…her comments and questions miss the mark. I also take issue with male dancers fully clothed and the female dancers dressed for pole dancing. Fix it…bring back Tom and Erin. Derek is doing a great job !
