Has this serial killer truly changed in the first season of the Dexter: New Blood TV show on Showtime? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Dexter: New Blood is cancelled or renewed for season two (in this case, it appears to be a one-season mini-series). Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Dexter: New Blood here.
A Showtime crime drama series, the Dexter: New Blood TV show is a continuation of the Dexter television series. The sequel series stars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Julia Jones, Jack Alcott, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, Clancy Brown, and David Magidoff. In the original show, Dexter Morgan (Hall) is a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. In the series finale, he is presumed dead but is revealed to be leading a quiet life, working for a lumber company in Oregon. Now, 10 years later, we find Morgan living as shopkeeper Jim Lindsay in the fictional small town of Iron Lake, New York. He has developed a relationship with Angela Bishop (Jones), the town’s chief of police, and has suppressed his serial killing urges. Morgan may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his inner “Dark Passenger” inevitably beckons.

This is a fantastic show. I understand wanting to end with Dexter being dead but you was just getting started with his relationship between him and his son. Could be some very interesting stories. Michael C. Hall is wonderful. Please bring it back for several seasons. Then later u can kill off Dexter and continue with his son

I absolutely loved all 8 of the original seasons and Dexter New Blood is phenomenal! 5 out of 5 stars! Yes a million times YES the show should be renewed not just for a season 2 but for 8 more seasons. Please, please, please Showtime bring this show back for a second’ third and at least a 4th season if not more!
Dexter was one of the best shows then and is still one of the best shows now!! Please renew, love Dexter and this revival!! Michael C. Hall hasn’t aged a day and is still amazing, need more!!
Please renewed season 2 so glad return bring back. Never watched it before so good is the best drama on showtime. Enjoy it and love it. Never missed any episode of it.
Only one more episode left! I love this show and will be crushed if they do not continue the series.. Michael C Hall is a great actor . Great story line and supporting cast.

This should be a permanent show, not just a limited series. Please add Dexter New Blood to the showtime lineup, on a weekly. The show is AWESOME!!!! Please continue to fulfill our carving for Dexter Morgan, it’s the only show on that’s soooooooooooo worthy of watching.
I love this show! I want to see it continue on, there is so much left to show as far as Harrison is concerned. Please find a way to keep it going!
This should be it’s own show… not a mini series… this is such a great show with a really high rating from fans…. please continue the series into a formal long series!
Please continue with Dexter New Blood!!! He is a disturbing man with a holism yet very fractured core. In a world where we are trying to understand the impacts of trauma while not judging people For their actions, we are looking for the story of “what happened, what shaped them? rather than what is wrong with them?”
New Blood is an incredible show that highlights the depth of intergenerational trauma, disruptive attachment and the power of resilience. Love this show!! Please continue with many more seasons

The anticipation of Dexter’s return definitely did NOT disappoint. I truly wish they would continue Dexter – one of the most satisfying and interesting characters….. there are plenty of bad guys for him to kill — thanks Dexter for cleaning house. 🙂
