Nothing but bad luck for this family. ABC has cancelled their freshman drama The Family, TVLine reports.
The drama centers on the Warren family, whose youngest member returns after mysteriously disappearing 10 years prior. The cast includes Joan Allen, Rupert Graves, Alison Pill, Zach Gilford, and Liam James.
The series premiered to decent ratings, but they have dropped steadily over the course of its first season. The Family began with a 1.48 in the 18-49 demo and currently holds an average of .83 in the 18-49 demo and 3.276 million viewers.
The season one and series finale airs on May 15th.

I am just finding out that The Family isnt returning . It is really sad after finding out Adam was alive and then find there is no more to let us know what happened Really enjoyed this series hope they will come back with another season very interesting story line

WHY… WHY…. WHY………. To leave us high and dry like this is torture… especially when we know adam is alive and well and is planning on getting his life back…. at least 1 more season to sum everything up
This is totally crazy. I wastill telling family and friends about this show and the had began to watch! Outraged!!!! ABC you SUCK! !!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE! !!!!

This was one of the best shows on TV in a long time. Full of suspense and drama with twists and turns in every episode. I can’t believe that they cancelled this show. When I see the other waste of time shows that they renewed it calls into question how they rate. I think that if this show had been part of a fall line up it would be a smash hit. BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!
