We have a new Nelson. Entertainment Weekly reports Hal Sparks has been cast in season two of Netflix’s Fuller House.
Sparks, who has appeared in Queer as Folk, Robot Chicken, and Web Soup, joins fellow castmembers Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber.
Originally, the character of Nelson (aka DJ Tanner’s ex-boyfriend) was played by Jason Marsden on Full House. However, the actor declined to reprise the role for the Netflix revival series. Instead, Marsden said he hopes the new Nelson is fantastic and is still short.
