TV show description:
A single-camera supernatural comedy series, the Ghosts TV show is based on the British comedy of the same name. It was created by Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, and Laurence Rickard & Ben Willbond.
Freelance journalist Samantha (McIver) and Jay (Ambudkar), an up-and-coming chef, are a couple from the city. They throw caution (and their money) to the wind when they decide to convert a huge rundown country estate they inherited into a bed & breakfast. They discover the hitch is that it’s inhabited by many spirits of deceased residents.
The departed souls are a close-knit, eclectic group that includes Alberta (Pinnock), a saucy Prohibition-era lounge singer; Isaac (Jones), a pompous 1700s Militiaman; Flower (Carrasco), a 1960s hippie who’s fond of hallucinogens; Pete (Moriarty), an overly upbeat 1980s scout troop leader; Thorfinn (Long), a cod-obsessed Viking explorer from 1009; Trevor (Grodman), a slick 1990s finance bro; Sasappis (Zaragoza), a sarcastic and witty Native from the 1500s; and Hetty (Wisocky), a society woman and the wife of an 1800’s robber baron who is Samantha’s ancestor.
If the spirits were anxious about the commotion that a renovation and a B&B would create in their home, it’s nothing compared to what happens when they realize that Samantha is the first live person who can see and hear them.

Love it. Please do not cancel it. It is nice to see a humorous show instead of all the crime dramas. Only wish it was longer than a half hour once a week

Love love LOVE this show!!!!! My husband and I look forward to Ghosts weekly and laugh hysterically watching it together!!! He is very disappointed the season is over. He keeps asking me if there are more shows coming. Ghosts has been our favorite sitcom!!!

Please do not cancel the show “Ghosts”. Myself and my daughter who’s ten watch it religiously, all I have to say on Thursdays is Nola what day it is ??? And we both squeal with glee and celebrate. This comedy gets laughs on so many different levels and the characters are perfect. The writer’s I feel will never run out of humorous content because the characters span different life spans and are hundreds of years apart. Not funny. Too many characters as ghosts. Still not funny. Why is this on?

Definitely has potential. I get a laugh here n there, the acting is great. I hope it doesn’t get canceled.
This US version of the British series tries too hard to be funny. Unfortunately the writers have a too heavy – handed approach as not all British comedies transfer well when they are rewritten for primarily American audiences.
Right Now The British Version Is Funnier Then The US version But Im Still Watching Both

I loved this one. Hope it makes it. Just want the characters to not all talk at once. I use CC & can’t keep up. But sooo funny & clever.
