A drama series airing on CBS, God Friended Me stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Suraj Sharma, Javicia Leslie, and Joe Morton. Set in New York City, the series revolves around a thoughtful and outspoken podcaster named Miles(Hall). Miles is an atheist and that puts him at odds with his reverend father (Morton). Miles’ life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God”. He partners with journalist Cara Bloom (Beane) and gets additional aide from his sister Ali (Leslie) and his hacker pal Rakesh (Sharma). I think ‘God Friended me’ is a really nice tv show, but it kind of reminded me of Jonathan Nola’s ‘Person of Interest’. Apart from that all the castings were nice and each stories were sane, I liked it!
God Friended Me is fabulous! No violence, no ugliness. Love Miles! Just a read feel good show!
We really enjoy God Friended Me, it’s heart warming & though it’s totally unrealistic it’s a nice break from the violence of FBI & Criminal Minds & the silliness of some of the comedies we watch. PLEASE renew this show!!!
