Will Miles uncover the truth in the second season of the God Friended Me TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like God Friended Me is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of God Friended Me here. *Status Update Below.
A CBS comedy-drama God Friended Me stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Joe Morton, Suraj Sharma, Javicia Leslie, and Erica Gimpel, with Adam Goldberg and Jessica Lu recurring. Set in New York City, the series revolves around a thoughtful and outspoken podcaster named Miles (Hall). Miles is an atheist and that puts him at odds with his father (Morton), a former reverend. Miles’ life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God”. He eventually accepts the request and starts digging into his new friend’s account, convinced it’s a hoax. He partners with journalist Cara Bloom (Beane) and gets additional aide from his sister Ali (Leslie) and his hacker pal, Rakesh (Sharma). Miles is convinced that the “God” account is an elaborate hoax and is devoted to uncovering the truth. In the meantime, he’s playing along and, in the process, seeing his life changed forever.

4/15 update: God Friended Me has been cancelled.
God Friended Me is my favorite show on TV. I’m so glad it was renewed for Season 2. Showing compassion and helping others is something we need in America today. I also like the budding romance between Miles and Cara, the friendship with Rakash, and the realistic portrayal of Miles father, an Episcopal priest.
Yes, we totally agree!!! You summed it up well!
This show is what the World truly needs today, kindness, love, caring and helping others. I am truly prayimg for a very long series regarding, God Friended Me! Love every episode and season. Always looking forward to another season.
So are we!!! Love the values, scripts, plots and characters. Very well done!!
So far God Friended Me has not disappointed me. I LOVE this program.
I have watched God Friended Me since the beginning and after Episode 1 in the 1st season, I found myself looking forward to Sundays in order not to miss an episode. It is light, comical, sincere and charismatic. I think it is exactly the kind of program we need (at LEAST 1 x week) during these rather dark, uncertain and scary days. This show always brings smiles to my face and I’m in such a calm, peaceful mood at the end of each episode. PLEASE let it return for another season (or six, preferably). The acting is fabulous; the story… Read more »
LOVED the premeire!
I love this show. But since I cut my cable I can’t watch it without paying so maybe that’s an incentive to cancel so Hulu can show it hint hint
Keep the show on! It’s so uplifting and happy at times tragic but the greater good wins out. It makes you feel so many things. Love it a faithful viewer from episode one season 1 !
I love this show. So different from most of the shows we see on TV anymore. I sure hope they keep it on.
God Friended Me is a truly meaningful and enjoyable show; we love it and hope it stays on for years to come.
A lot of people could benefit from the goodness and caring that is displayed in this show. Love it!
I love this show, too & hope it goes on for many yrs.
My only problem is that the station CBS, needs to cut the sports short or stop running 60 minutes all the way through! This week we only got 3/4 of NCIS LA because of the sports!!!!
We love this show and think it should stay on. It is a very enjoyable show. With all the stupid crazy shows on that stay on we think this great show should stay.
I absolutely love this show and its heartwarming values! The characters are delightful and I can wait to see more…
We think that “God Friended Me” is a very good show and agree that it did get off to a very good start. Looking forward to each episode.
