Will Miles uncover the truth in the second season of the God Friended Me TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like God Friended Me is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of God Friended Me here. *Status Update Below.
A CBS comedy-drama God Friended Me stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Joe Morton, Suraj Sharma, Javicia Leslie, and Erica Gimpel, with Adam Goldberg and Jessica Lu recurring. Set in New York City, the series revolves around a thoughtful and outspoken podcaster named Miles (Hall). Miles is an atheist and that puts him at odds with his father (Morton), a former reverend. Miles’ life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God”. He eventually accepts the request and starts digging into his new friend’s account, convinced it’s a hoax. He partners with journalist Cara Bloom (Beane) and gets additional aide from his sister Ali (Leslie) and his hacker pal, Rakesh (Sharma). Miles is convinced that the “God” account is an elaborate hoax and is devoted to uncovering the truth. In the meantime, he’s playing along and, in the process, seeing his life changed forever.

4/15 update: God Friended Me has been cancelled.
So disappointing to see once again a family show cancelled. Why not get rid of some of the violence based shows
I definitely would like to see this show renewed. It is a very uplifting show and so much a relief from all the other shows that depict the bad in people.
God Friended Me was absolutely our favorite television show. I can’t believe it has been cancelled. It is the kind of uplifting show we need today! So disappointed in CBS that they have made this decision. Please reconsider.
God Friended Me was such an uplifting show and I really am disappointed that it is no longer going to be on any longer. There are so many X rated shows we could do without and be kinder to people. I hope you will reconsider this decision. Thank you.
Why would you want to cancel such a wonderful show? “God Friended Me” is one of the best family-friendly shows on TV, and during these difficult times we need a little pick me up every once in a while. This show helps to fill that need. No swearing, no violence, and no sexual situations; what more could you ask for? Also references to God and faith don’t hurt either. Please, please reconsider your incorrect decision to cancel this show and renew it for many years to come. Thank you.
I whole heartedly agree that this is an A+ show! Please renew it next season. Love this show!
So sorry to hear God Friended me was coming to an end. I really looked forward to Sunday. Every week was just an entertaining and edge of of your seat entertaining. Is there any way to bring it back? Please give this show another chance. I know I would love it to return.
A clean, wholesome class act show that has a meaningful, insightful, from the heart story of personal & spiritual struggles from so many different individual backgrounds of all ages centered around our being “account”-able to the “ONE” who gave us the Story of Salvation even amid our many inequities. The God Account, so aptly named. The show helps us & reminds us of that in each episode. Kudos to all who made this show possible. Why cancel such a great show?
I love this show. What kind of crap are they planning on replacing it with. I’m tired of good shows being cancelled.
I love this show. What kind of crap will they replace it with. I’m tired of good shows being cancelled.
I LOVED “God Friended Me” from the very first show!!! If ever there was a time we needed exactly this kind of show, IT IS NOW!!! It is a beautiful reminder of what simple caring and concern for each other can achieve and how when we unite together our caring and concern, how it can help each of us ~ the giver and the receiver ~ to rise above the inevitable “storms” that come in all our lives and to help us cross over “troubled waters” together!!! PLEASE reconsider a third season and help us to remember that “we are… Read more »
I am very disappointed that God Friended Me was cancelled. My wife and I have looked forward to watching this show since it began. Now that it is over, all we can say is, Why! I understand ratings are everything, but a show like this should stay on the air more than ever. Maybe you should have promoted it more. Take the shows off that we never watch, Magnum PI and Tommy, we also quit watching Bull. Bring God Friended Me back.
I can’t believe you are cancelling one of the best family type shows, that’s inspirational, giving people hope, reason for faith, God, trust, and just plain goodness.
With all the trashy crap that ABC, NBC and yes you CBS ( you have a few) this is a show of faith and inspiration.
Shame on you. Keep the show!
You want to get rid of something “Stephen Colbert”

Please don’t take god befriend me off it’s about the only thing that is decent. Take some of the blood and guts and sex off keep the decent ones bring it back
God Friended Me was one of the best shows on TV! HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY CANCEL THIS SHOW? MOST OF THE SHOWS ON T.V. HAVE SO MUCH VIOLENCE! IT’S SO NICE TO SEE SOMETHING THAT IS SO HEART WARMING! WE ARE SO SO DISAPPOINTED THAT YOU THOUGHT SO LITTLE OF YOUR VIEWING PUBLIC THAT YOU COULD DO THIS!
I looked forward every week for this show. It was uplifting told a good story without guns, car chases. I am so disappointed that it has been canceled. Please reconsider. Everything is violent, we need less of that.
Please renew God friend me. It is an excellent program. Inspirational…we all need hope in today’s society. This is the only program I truly looked forward to watching. The program was very well written. Bring it back. Please and thanks.
