What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Godless stars Jeff Daniels, Jack O’Connell, Michelle Dockery, Scoot McNairy, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Merritt Wever, Jeremy Bobb, Whitney Able, and Samantha Soule. The 19th century western, from creators Scott Frank and Steven Soderbergh, centers on Roy Goode (O’Connell). After betraying his mentor, the infamous gangster Frank Griffin (Daniels), Roy must go on the run from him and his “brotherhood” of criminals. He seeks refuge at the ranch of the widow Alice Fletcher (Dockery), in La Belle, New Mexico, where women run the show. When the citizens learn Griffin and his gang are on their way, they unite to defend themselves against these notorious outlaws.
Godless ended on November 22, 2017 so there won’t be a second season. Could it be revived in some way? Stay tuned for further updates.

I Loved Godless on Netflix and have been waiting for more.
I’m also getting tired of watching 1 or 2 seasons of the Great shows, then getting the rug pulled out from under me! Like “Frontier”! It was EXCELLENT and now cancelled!!

Would love to see another season?
Thank goodness I got to watch a story in one season. I’m fed up with successful shows going season after season with contrived plots aimed at spinning out the story and torturing the characters in order to keep it on air. I lose interest after a couple of seasons as the writers try anything to keep the plot alive and on a screen. I long for the story arc over 5 – 7 episodes. It’s like a good book that you enjoy and still enjoy after you read the last page and close it.
YES!!! Please bring back Godless! Although I enjoyed the limited series, I felt short changed when it came to the relationships between the main characters, especially Roy and Alice. I was expecting an epic, passionate romance and all we got was a few limited scenes. Shouldn’t that have been more of a big deal for both characters? Alice had to let down her guard and get over years of trauma and loss to let Roy into her heart. Yes I really hope they do bring back Godless. Why say it’s going to be a limited series if there not going to take the time to finish it. There’s nothing worse than watching a show and enjoying it and then it just leaves you hanging. Please bring it back!!!
I agree Netflix tends to to this and it is pissing people off I’m ready to drop them all the way good shows disappear but keep the crap that isn’t good people dont know wtf is good anymore reality tv is a joke and dumb as comedy **** that isn’t funny I’m done paying for a crappy service there trying to make a easy buck

PLEASE renew Godless AND Strange Empire. Many of us are dying for good Westerns with strong chararacters and good themes. I’m counting on you to write Season 2 for both mini series. We want to see how the women rebuild their communities and respond and/or prepare for life’s challenges in the Old West.
