What’s This TV Show About?
An Amazon Prime Video legal drama, Goliath stars Billy Bob Thornton, Tania Raymonde, Nina Arianda, Diana Hopper, Julie Brister, Ana de la Reguera, Mark Duplass, Morris Chestnut, and Dwight Yoakam. The series follows Billy McBride (Thornton), the “David” of the series, who takes on the well-heeled Goliaths of the justice system and the world.
Goliath has reportedly been renewed for a third season which will debut October 4, 2019. Stay tuned for further updates.

Season 2 ended with evil Drug Kingpin brother & sister still running their drug empire. At the very least There needs to be a season three for Billy McBride to take that ***** ass newly elected mayor down to jail for life And why not Three or four more seasons because the show is that good !!! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and I went through a bag of chips nervously watching Season 2 Episode 8. Score. 10 out of 10!!!

Omgosh please renew. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. Seriously great quality actors, camerawork, storyline – EVERYTHING! I don’t watch a lot of television in the summer, but I had a couple of rain days and this show can’t me coming back for more every day. Binged both seasons in two weeks. Amazon would be crazy to NOT renew it.

I am hoping there will be a third season and more. I find the show well acted, gritty and full of twists and turns. Am watching second season now,
Season 2 was a big disappointment to my husband and I as the season progressed. It seemed to lose it’s way in the script writing, especially the Mexico kidnapping scenes and the gross surgical scenes. The ending was not an ending. Season 1 had a great beginning, and ending. I hope there is a Season 3, with a better story line, and less F bombs!
Renew!
I LOVE this show! Please don’t do what they did to Penny Dreadful and pull it before it had a chance to become a known commodity. Give these new shows the chance to build viewership. There is so much detritus to wade through before striking gold. Goliath is gold. So is Billy Bob Thornton.
I love Goliath. Billy Bob Thornton is a Great actor. The show is very well done. I am really hoping for Season 3.

It would take another season for me to have a strong opinion about this occasionally-overblown show. I want to like it because there’s so little TO like on TV, live or streaming. It’s watchable, for now, and I would like to watch more only if it doesn’t decline.
The writing and some of the acting this season was weak compared to s1. There was not one moment when I didn’t know Reguera was acting. Even Thornton’s sleep walking was more riveting a performance than one second of her phony amateurish acting. Arianda, Raymonde, Duplass and most everyone else were great. And I still want a 3rd season. But they have to up their game on this one.
