What’s This TV Show About?
A WGN America crime drama, Gone stars Chris Noth, Leven Rambin, Danny Pino, Andy Mientus, and Tracie Thoms, with Kelly Rutherford, Jordan Bridges, Christopher O’Shea, and Lee Tergese recurring in the first season. The procedural centers on Kit “Kick” Lannigan (Rambin), who survived a high-profile child-abduction case, and the man who saved her, FBI Agent Frank Novak (Noth). Now, because of her unique insight and post-kidnapping training, Frank has recruited Kick for his new task force focusing on abductions and missing persons.

Telly’s Take
Will WGN America cancel or renew Gone for season two? Since the series is an international co-production which airs in France, Germany, and Australia, the decision doesn’t rest solely on its performance in the United States. Also, the first season was produced a couple years ago, in 2017. Shows have been revived but that’s rare so fact that doesn’t seem to bode well for a renewal. Gone is amazing! Our entire family has watched all of season 1, and found it an incredibly well done twist on law enforcement. The cast and acting was top drawer. Please hurry with season 2! It goes to the top of our viewing list!
My husband and I both enjoy Gone! The actors are fantastic and the storylines are unique and not predictable! This Season 1 should have been aired earlier in the year so viewers could watch it and have time to get attached as viewers! Please give us a Season 2 we’re waiting for Gone’s future episodes!
GONE on WGN is one of the most original, well thought out shows in a very very long time. We truly hope they renew it! It was refreshing to have a show

This is one of the best TV shows I have watched. I compare it to be as good as SWAT, Seal Team, and Law and Order. Had anyone ever considered the fact this show wasn’t ever really promoted to the viewers. I seen no ads or anything to support it in any way. Then to leave the show standing like it is, not to return next season is just plain wrong!!! In fact I’m about to turn to Social Media concerning this broadcast. Please bring back Gone! I’m so tired of finding a great show and getting into it only for it to be canceled! I’m sure there are many others who feel the same way!! Come on!
Agree. Bring Gone back. I am also tired of finding a decent show and then learning it is cancelled. This shows kids how to be more careful and love Kick teaching Self Defense and also finding lost or abducted kids.
