What’s This TV Show About?

Airing on the OWN cable channel, The Haves and the Have Nots follows the complex dynamic between the rich and powerful Cryer family of Savannah, Georgia and the hired help who work in their opulent mansion. The cast includes Aaron O’Connell, Angela Robinson, Antoinette Robertson, Brett Davis, Crystal Fox, Gavin Houston, John Schneider, John Chaffin, Nicholas James, Peter Parros, Presilah Nunez, Renee Lawless, Tika Sumpter, and Tyler Lepley.
 

Season Four Ratings

The fourth season of The Haves and the Have Nots averaged a 0.67 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.52 million viewers. Compared to the season three, it was down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewers. Find how The Haves and the Have Nots stacks up against the other OWN TV shows.
 

Telly’s Take

Some of these cable networks drive me to drink something a little stronger than carrion blood, if you know what I mean. Although the question: “Has The Haves and the Have Nots TV show been cancelled or renewed for season five?” should be easy to answer, it isn’t always. Often, basic cable outlets are willy nilly about season and episode numbering.

It seems to me the recent 44 episode pickup should mean OWN has renewed The Haves and the Have Nots for season five and maybe even season six. On the other hand, the renewal could be for a mondo sized season five (or season four) or some weird combination of the three. Unfortunately, OWN hasn’t said how they plan to air the 44 episodes. Suffice it to say, fans don’t have to wonder if The Haves and the Have Nots TV show will be cancelled anytime too soon. This is just fine by me. Disorganization destroys my appetite.
