What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Hawaii Five-0 stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Ian Anthony Dale, Meaghan Rath, Beulah Koale, Chi McBride, Katrina Law, Taylor Wily, Dennis Chun, and Kimee Balmilero. This reboot of the 1968 TV show follows an elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out crime on the Hawaiian Isles. Detective Steve McGarrett (O’Loughlin), a decorated Naval officer turned cop, leads the team. Joining McGarrett are Detective Danny “Danno” Williams (Caan), a relocated ex-New Jersey cop and father; Captain Lou Grover (McBride), who formerly headed Hawaii’s SWAT unit; and recent police academy graduate Tani Rey (Rath). They are aided by Adam Noshimuri (Dale), a friend with old ties to a deadly crime family; former SEAL Junior Reigns (Koale); Kamekona Tupuola (Wily), a local entrepreneur; Sgt. Duke Lukela (Chun); Sgt. Quinn Liu (Law); and medical examiner Dr. Noelani Cunha (Balmilero).

THERE ARE NOT MANY QUALITY TV SHOWS LEFT ON TELEVISION. HAWAII FIVE O WAS A QUALITY TV SHOW THAT WE LOOKED FORWARD TO EVERY WEEK. I DON’T KNOW WHAT EVERYONE IS THINKING BECAUSE THIS TV SHOW HAD AN AWESOME TEAM AND I KNOW THAT THE WRITERS HAVEN’T RUN OUT OF AMAZING STORIES. OMG!!! Please extend Hawaii 5-O for another season. I have watched it faithfully for the last 10 years. I love the actors, suspense, action and camaraderie. I watched the original series from 1968 to 1980, and was disappointed when it was cancelled. Jack Lord and cast were awesome, as are Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan et al.
Stopped watching Hawaii five-0 until recently. We love it now. Better plots. Why are introductory scenes colors so faded?
Hawii 5-0 is an excellent Friday evening anticipation. All the cast has actually been well selected for the rolls they portray. With one exception, the actor choice for the roll of MacGarret. Alex O’Loughlin was never a good choice. Too fragile physically. From episode 1, not even close to being believable for the background of the character he portrayed. Not even close in image, attitude or physical abilities. The show writers, stories, scenes, dialogue, attire, firearms, vehicles and direction were great. Almost all of them! Hawaii Five O will definitely be missed, would like to see CBS have a change of heart and keep the show running.
I really like this show. It was one of the very successful “remakes”. The writing, directing and acting is superb. Can’t say that for some of the others. Really sad to see it go.
I think this is one of the great shows playing onCBS. I hope you reconsider keeping this show going.

Please don’t cancel Hawaii 5 0. The new man that was with MacGarret on the finally. Why can’t he be the new leader. He really seemed good. And why would they put a new man if not renewing 5 0. Very sad Alex is leaving. Heard he has back problems. Again please keep this great show on the air CBS
