Year-to-year, Hawaii Five-0 was down by an astounding 47% in the demo (vs a 3.4 rating) and 34% in viewers (vs 12.19 million). It should be noted that last season’s opener had the advantage of airing on the same night as the first Ashton Kutcher episode of Two and a Half Men.
Still, this season’s opener represents an all-time low for Hawaii Five-0 in both the demo and viewers. That’s not good.
Reference point: The 2011-12 season averaged a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.67 million viewers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Hawaii Five O is an awesome show and should be renewed. The acting is good and the story lines are great with lots of action every week. Too many good shows get cancelled, please don,t let this be one of them.
starting to sink……might have too many plugs to fill to stop the leaks. cookie cutter of other shows. same ole stuff each week…bad music and plots are bad..
HAWAII FIVE-O IS THE BEST SHOW ON TV .PLEASE RENEW IT FOR A 4TH SEASON.THANK YOU
LOVE THIS SHOW GLAD TO HEAR IT WAS RENWED FOR ANOTHER SEASON
I DO LOVE MCGARRETT THIS SHOW IS BETTER THAN THE ORGINAL 5-0. THIS IS MY FAVORITE OF ALL THE SHOWS ON TV KEEP THE SHOW GOING FOR A VERY LONG TIME
I really enjoy Hawaii Five O. The actors that were chosen, fit the roles so seamlessly. I love the banter between the characters. It is a fun series to watch. Some of my favorite episodes have occurred in this season. Please don’t cancel this show.
Keep the show on. I tape it & also watch it. I watch 2-3 times in case I miss something.
Get rid of Michelle Borth. Her acting sucks
I don’t understand why the show might get cancelled. I love this show. Please let there be a 4th season. It’s better than these other show. A 100 times better. So please keep the show going. I love Hawaii 5-O.
Keep the show also in FRANCE
Are you joking? I dont know why it’s ratings could be dropping, its one of the freshest shows in YEARS. Keep the show!
Keep the show.
This is the best network television show I have seen in years. I had actually given up in network television until I found Hawaii 5-0.
Keep the show
I agree Hawaii 50 should not be canceled.
I do agree it is the best show on television to date, If I am unable to watch I TIvO the episode.
All of the actors have great chemistry and work well together.
I do think the slow jumped the shark with Doris coming back. I do not enjoy the episodes where the subplot revolves around mamma drama.
Those episodes drag where as the episodes with out mamma drama flow much better.
Get rid of Doris get back to basics and what really works.
The show is great. Please keepgoing on.
