TV show description:
An improv/sketch comedy series, Kids Say the Darndest Things is based on the CBS program that was hosted by comic Bill Cosby (1998-2000). That series was based on a feature of Art Linkletter’s House Party radio show (1945-67) and the television program that followed, Art Linkletter’s House Party (1952-69). In this latest version, comedian Tiffany Haddish hosts and executive produces the series.
In the reimagined format, in-studio segments and taped pieces from across the country are played out in front of a live studio audience. Haddish interacts with real kids who often have their own innocently entertaining points of view.
Each episode includes several different segments with children with diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives. In the “Kids Rule” segments, children explain the rules for everything from sportsmanship to dating to Tiffany. In “Love Talk”, Tiffany seeks their advice on her love life. “I’ll Be Right Back” features a hidden-camera segment with Tiffany asking the children to cover her desk while she’s out of the office and things go haywire. In the “Granny Tiff” segments, Tiffany is disguised as an older woman and she asks kids for help with technology.

Art linkletter had the format right.

I love this show now that Tiffany Haddish does it. I love her, and I love the old clips of Art Linkletter. Perfect!!!
We like the kids but the show is more about the host than them. Tiffany tries to hard to act like she is in a night club. She often appears clumsy trying to communicate with the kids.
The kids are great without her coaching them. Would like to see the show renewed with some changes.

This show is terrible. Its suppose to be about the kids & it is not. The host, Tiffany Haddish, may be a comedian, but she is not good for a kid’s show. Show is mostly about her, don’t have time for the kids. Show would be good & get good ratings with a different host.
RENEW for Season 2. Haddish is funny, genuine, and great with ALL kids of ALL races, genders, socioeconomic status, etc. GREAT Family Sunday night show!
This is a funny show. Drinking out of pink glasses is no big dorn deal. Its a a little girls thang. Ppl have no imagination. Tiffany is NOT the show ppl. It’s about the little kids. Hell. Art Linkletter was not funny, it was the kids. Stay focus!!!!
I was looking forward to seeing Kids Say The Darndest Things with Tiffany Haddish again after the first two show, the next thing I knew, It did not air. What happened? I must admit, she went overboard with some of the things she had the children doing. She has to remember they are kids not adults. Once she does this, she should be okay. We don’t want to corrupt children.
The show is terrible!!! She talks about stealing her boyfriend from another woman. They are drinking out of pink glasses like they are drinking mixed drinks. She talks about payback time. BAD, BAD, BAD!!! What are they teaching the children
The host is terrible! Not funny at all. The comments in front of the kids is unacceptable. (That she came from a black hole). And that’s in front of kids under the age of 10. Then she says she couldn’t get away with things because she came from a black mother. I think she needs to stay in nightclubs with adults.
So i have always like this show. However the host is wrong. It was mostly on her and not the kids. I fail to see the fun part of making a kid Eat ketchup with dessert. Specialty When little girl said no and host kind of force her to eat it. What did the little girl do eat it as she felt intimidated by the adult.
Not funny we thought in our home. Rework the show snd make it about the kids and less about the competition with the adult.
Like the kids the host not so much should be renewed
I was not impressed last night with the premiere. Haddish kept the spotlight on herself for the most part and the kids themselves were all kind of boring accept the young jazz player at the end. Hope it gets better because I like the first 2 renditions of this show with Art Linkletter and Bill Cosby, respectively.
I agree should have never been on why replace Family Feud with this bad show I guess ABC wants To Be Like CBS and have low ratings and bad shows as a write off (Tax Write Off)
