The adventures of MacGyver will continue. CBS just announced they’ve renewed the TV show for a fourth season.
A reboot of the ’80s action drama, the series centers on Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till), a 20-something adventurer who uses his vast scientific knowledge and extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving to save the world. The cast also includes Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, and Meredith Eaton.
It’s hardly surprising CBS has renewed MacGyver. Although ratings have dropped around 15% since season two, the show’s third season is still averaging a decent .70 in the 18-49 demo and 6.137 million viewers.
Fans of MacGyver can also look forward to more Desi next season. Deadline reports star Levy Tran is expected to join season four as a series regular.

It’s great to keep going with MacGyver, but I’m very disappointed with this big CBS channel that they’ve pushed MacGyver into the mid-season, even though other series like Seal Team, Bull (gruesome series) have a permanent place. I find that totally shameful. There are as I heard only once only 13 episodes that is impossible from CBS. I am extremely disappointed with the station because I really expected more. The MacGyver fans are treated extremely badly. A shame ! Well, I think that Levy Tran stays. I think she is a really great substitute for the annoying Dalton. 🙂

I definitely watch Macgeyvor and I’m so excited for season 4! I didn’t really like George Eads at all so I’m glad they got someone to replace him. Let’s go Levy!!!

Love love this show but realise how much I miss Jack! It’s not the same without him!
So happy Mac was renewed! The season finale was excellent and the new villain is killing it! Like many of you though I think they’ve got to get someone in there with a little charisma. Tran and Bozers gf (she’s so flat I can’t even remember her name!) are boring characters who add no personality to the show. The only part of the finale that made me really cringe was the date? between Tran and Mac. Dear lord just please no! A romance between these two will really bring the show down a notch!

Oh my god they’re going to renew the woman (Levy Tran) Jack’s Place?! She is so terrible! How can they do this she terrible it looks façade is awful. I’m just gonna stop watching it . I can’t stand Levy Tran in Jack’s Place it’s just terrible; if any indication how that last episode recently was on this show is doomed. It was better with Jack this show is now officially junk! I love this series, I am so happy and overjoyed that there is a 4th season. It would have been a shame to finish the series. I can not wait for the 4th season. Absolutely brilliant that it continues. 🙂 🙂 🙂
