Good news for MacGyver fans! SpoilerTV reports CBS has ordered an additional episode for the TV series’ second season.
A reboot of the ’80s series, the action drama stars Lucas Till as a young Angus “Mac” MacGyver, who uses his vast scientific knowledge and extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving to save the world. The cast also includes George Eads, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, and Meredith Eaton.
With the additional episode, season two of MacGyver will now contain 23 episodes total instead of the standard 22. This is a good sign for the future of the CBS series, which has struggled in the ratings since season two debuted in September.
What do you think? Do you watch MacGyver? Do you hope CBS renews the series?
I wasn’t sure it would live up to the original but I love it! The cast is fantastic and I really hope it goes on for many seasons to come. I’m surprised that ratings are low, the show is good – funny, exciting and imaginative. What more do people want?
I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!!!!!
It is better than the original series. The other one was good but this one is more up to date.
Is the network feeling our love here? This cast has great chemistry & I love Jack being the “old” man after all those years as our hunk on CSI. He is so funny & who knew? This is a cute show and we all need something to relax us in these trying times. Please don’t cancel.
